I had my required vehicle inspection performed at lykon.. they were the lowest priced and it was a wonderful experience. The waiting room had everything... microwave, refrigerator, water cooler, an individual cup coffee maker and hot chocolate. I actually got lost because the Google map showed the location about 250 yards different and on the other side of the road. But Nicole talked to me in from where I ultimately wound up. When I left I noticed that the air in all four tires had been set to the factory settings to the pound. I had a good luck quarter on the floor in the back of a car that someone gave me and it was still there. I would go back there in a heartbeat read more

The customer service here is fantastic. Although I had to get a new transmission (miserable situation) which is costly, I did not leave with a bad taste in my mouth. The manager Bridgett (I hope I didn't spell it wrong!) was extremely friendly and enthusiastic, and you could tell she genuinely cares about her customers. She even stayed an hour later than close time just to make sure I didn't have to wait until the next day! I stumbled upon Lykon Automotive by checking out the back of my Giant receipt. I know what you are thinking - who looks at those coupons and advertisements on the back of grocery store receipts? I do...and you should, too! I, of course, looked them up on yelp and after reading so many good reviews - I knew I had to give this place a shot. Even from my first phone call the experience was great. Tyler was super nice and when booking my appointment for inspection. I dropped it off in the morning with Bridgette and a couple of hours later - she was ready to be picked up! I am very happy with the service I received and will continue to take my car back for future services! Update 12/2016: I went back to the shop for an oil change and to have a tire sensor looked at. The folks that work here always take their time and make sure the work is done right. I took my car to sts multiple times and they 'could not' fix/get my tire pressure light to stop flashing, and when I came into Lykon it got taken care of! Couldn't ask for better service. read more

I wish I could leave no stars. Wouldn't recommend this company to even my worst enemy. Dennis was scheduled to tow my vehicle through my roadside assistance. First he shows up to the location and tells me my car was already towed by another tow truck... Confirmed it was not by a manager at the location it was at, so I called him back to advise, and then he said it was due to a bill issue. Which the manager yet again confirmed I had paid my bill before he even arrived, and emailed me my receipt already. I couldn't get in contact with him except by leaving voicemails that Tuesday afternoon, but I advised him it had been paid and about 10 mins later (since it was only being towed 2 miles) I got the notification it was successfully towed to the correct auto shop but I couldn't call to confirm with the shop because they closed well after I got notified it was towed there. The next day Wednesday, my auto shop calls me saying my vehicle never arrived. I called Dennis and he advised me that he dropped it off at the location And kept confirming the address provided from my insurance which was correct, but I advised him it wasn't there so he told me he took it to a Sunoco in Penndel which was not the address my insurance provided. Called the auto shop he says he took it to, and it's not there. Since I was without a vehicle, I had family members and friends searching all of Penndel, Langhorne, Levittown, etc the whole evening for my car. Almost reported it stolen only to find out it was still at the dealership. Dennis was supposed to send me before, and after pictures of the vehicle he supposedly dropped off, and when I kept calling he said he did and said he'd email them to me. Never got them and I had texted him four times but no response. Called the dealership to advise he may have towed the wrong vehicle since he told me they handed him the keys to the vehicle he towed and the vin number matched. They spoke to him this morning, Thursday, and he advised the manager that he got tired of waiting for my car and left. So overall my car was never towed even though he marked it as complete with my insurance and told me some bullshit elaborate story. I reported this to my insurance, and they escalated it so the company is never recommended again for the area. Absolutely no professionalism from the auto shop as well when I called because the girl was talking to someone else while I was trying to explain the situation, which coming from someone who works in customer service every day this was despicable treatment. It may not of been her problem to handle, but it sure as hell inconvenienced me of two additional days without my vehicle, and her best advice was to contact Dennis. Ha! Good fucking luck with that! I now had to pay out of pocket for a tow to send my car to the correct location. Save yourself the money, and time, and find a tow company that actually cares about the customers vehicle and values your time. I'm honestly glad he didn't get a chance to touch my vehicle. I was truly blown away by their service from tow to pickup. The Lykon family and employees are extremely intelligent professionals. They had a detailed thorough explanation and solution for the cause of my axle problems and identified other issues with the vehicle without being pushy about making a sale. They went far beyond my expectations including driving me to the train station when my car was left at their shop and picking me up from the station when I was en route to pick up my car. Picking me up in my car was also a nice touch!!! Even though Lykon is probably 20-30 miles from my house, I'll definitely go back for my inspections and scheduled maintenance. No one is ever lucky to have a dead car on the shoulder of I95, but I'm fortunately Lykon took care of me!!! read more

A good place for state and emissions inspection. Frequent coupons in Valpak, etc. make it affordable. My car always passed inspection here (other places sometimes find non-existing defects to make more money). They give honest advice about potential issues that may require attention in the future. And now a new waiting room with beverages, donuts, etc. make any visit a much more pleasant experience. Recommended! read more
