We were having a problem with our truck, so we came in. Andy asked what the problem was and asked for our registration, which we gave to him. He then started doing something on his computer while we were just standing there. Ten minutes went by with no word from him, so we asked what was happening. In a sarcastic and annoyed tone, asked if we were rushing him then he told us that he was doing something for someone else who came in before us and asked if that was okay with us. How were we supposed to know that? You had us standing around like fools when all we did was ask a simple question. We asked a question and were met with attitude. After my initial poor experience at Belmont's Garage, I was contacted directly by Andy, who personally reached out to apologize for how I was treated. He was sincere and transparent about what had been going on at the time and took full responsibility for his actions. While I appreciate his honesty and the offer he extended to make things right, I've decided not to accept any complimentary services. I do want to acknowledge, however, that he made a genuine effort to reach out and apologize, which I respect. Best and most honest repair place around. I took my truck here years ago for a new transmission and spoke with the owner. He was super nice and helpful. Then when I picked up my truck there was a cool little care package in there with an ice scraper and stuff. Fast forward to today luckily I haven't need much work done on my vehicle that I couldn't do. But my wife needed her car inspected and they treated her great and explained everything to her. I will be getting all my inspections here from now on....and of course anything else I need done to my vehicle.... These guys are the best. I just moved back to the area and needed to deal with the Racket that PA calls "Inspection". I brought the car to one shop and they were jerks so I didn't get the work that was needed. Checked out Yelp and Belmont had great reviews. They confirmed the original inspection, in addition to changing the oil, and it sill cost 300 less than the other shop. They did not charge for the Inspection also. THEN, I get a Thank You Letter! Mr. Belmont has been a great mechanic to work with. I've had the garage do all of my work since I moved back into the area about 2 years ago. This included the recent inspection on my Xterra. During which it was found that the year of sitting during COVID wasn't kind to the truck. With the amount of work that needed to be done, I decided not to have the Xterra fixed up. Rather than charge me for the inspection, which I was perfectly happy to pay for (they did the work after all), Belmont's didn't charge me. And even gave me the names of a couple guys he knew at local dealers to help me find a replacement vehicle. Belmont's may or may not be the cheapest in the area (I don't really know), but I always feel that I can trust the work and I never feel pressured to do work that the cars don't really need. My first time using this establishment on 5/10/23. I needed an inspection having moved back from West Virginia. My car was just inspected in March so I knew it didn't need anything. I told them on Monday I need inspection and I would wait. They said come in Wednesday. I was in at 9:00 and out by 10:00. No one tried to upsell me or suggest things I didn't need. They were friendly and offered me coffee or water. I've been in Langhorne since they opened and I can't believe I never tried them before. Andy Belmont and his crew and family are always there for you! His family business goes that extra mile for you. When you get there you are always greeted with a smile and a handshake. You tell Andy what is wrong with your car or truck and then Andy and his team go over it , then they find out what's wrong with it. Drove my car there for a inspection. I was moving in three weeks and he told me no worries if I didn't see my car from the road he was storing it out back. Received a phone call saying it needed brakes lines replaced and several other miner repairs. No problem. Told him my daughter would pay him because I left my credit card with her. She called him a few days later and he told her he junked my car. I don't know if this is common practice but I think mortality this is wrong. Please beware this can happen to you too!!! read more

What a pleasant experience from great, caring staff! After reading other Yelp reviews, I decide to give Belmont's Garage a try as I needed an inspection for my new car. Immediately upon entering, I was offered complimentary snacks (donuts, coffee, water, root beer, etc). I was told that for my coffee, I could look in the fridge for some half-and-half (I didn't even have to ask). After dealing with the very friendly gentleman at the front desk, I sat down, made myself at home, and waited for my car. Only 20 minutes later, my car was ready, and I checked out. A nice woman even offered to take my garbage for me, which was completely unexpected. When I entered my car, I saw they left me an adorable gift bag, as well as put all of my car documents (registration, etc) into a clear plastic carrying-case sleeve.
