I was able to implement some things…read moreon my own (we have a wall that holds 2 months at a time of color coded calendar systems, travel planning) but fell short on others (especially house, paperwork, clutter) A year after reading the book I was lucky enough to meet Ronni. So sweet and down to earth. I recently connected with Ronni and she was incredible enough to travel over 2.5 hours from her home in Connecticut to my home on Long Island. Although I was initially terrified to invite a professional organizer into my less than organized home, I asked her to help me finally get rid of the excess and start to organize my house. She was unbelievable. She spent over 4 hours in my kitchen alone. She showed me how to better use my cabinet space, pantry space, repurpose cabinets to better fit my needs and how to know how to let go of certain items, clutter, etc. My counters had become a catch all and some cabinets could literally "explode" when opened. Ronni gave me some great tips and "rules" for getting started. After clearing out over 4 bags of garbage, donating 3 big boxes and selling 17 items, I'm happy to say I've made some great progress. I'm going to use the money from my sold items to buy lazy susans and some more bins to finish the kitchen organization project completely. I am so very grateful to Ronni for giving me her time (over 9 hours total between travel and organizing), sharing her expertise (never judging my horrendous and embarrasing clutter) while making me feel comfortable and confident I could do it, and her kindness.
