From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Nothing happened without Peter's knowledge and he always focused on what was best for us: Initially meeting through closing. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. Title Company) were exceptional too. Thanks Peter and Red Cedar for your exemplary support, education, and caring over 5 years!

Shush, sit, and read on. While it's true that my baby brother is the one buying the house, you need to first understand how dysfunctionally close our family is. No, not House of Lannister close you sick-o. Close, as in, we can't make any major life decisions without everyone in the family weighing in. So, as my brother goes on his house hunt, it means that my parents and I come along. And then loudly argue over the pros and cons of the house. We nitpick at everything...from where the stairs are positioned, to the type of grass that is in the yard. Heck, once my dad and I stopped talking to each other for 3 days because he didn't like the *way the front door opened*. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT. It's actually quite amazing that we are ever able to do anything. But I digress. As we go along with my beloved brother in his house hunt, our fantastic real estate agent, Piero, follows us. Patiently. ENDLESSLY patient. As in, three steps away from being canonized by the Pope kind of patient. Our agent Piero has shown us the same house 5 times, because my parents wanted to see the house during the morning and afternoon light, but oh wait, we need to come back one more time, because my mom didn't bring her compass to ensure that the bathroom is facing north instead of west. He's stood there (uncomfortably) as my parents and I get into impassioned arguments over the degree of slope that the backyard has, and if the slope actually rises or ends on the property line. He's calmly re-explained what a short-sell is, for the 90th time, to my brother, who is still confused as to the difference between a short-sell and a foreclosure. Did I mention that he met us the day after Thanksgiving (while he had houseguests) to show my parents the same house for the 4th time, because they didn't get to see the house with the *morning* light? Yeah. I know. My family is bonkers, and it's not many agents that can keep up with our special kind of crazy. And no, my brother doesn't have a house yet. An offer has been made and we're just waiting for the bank to sign off. So keep your fingers crossed for us, because if my brother doesn't get his house, poor Piero will have to endure another endless round of house hunting with us...and seriously, Piero is too nice of a guy to have to endure that. No commission can ever repay that kind of trauma.

It became too difficult to manage on my own, and we hired Piero to step into a sticky situation and ultimately follow through on an eviction of our tenants. He handled everything like a pro and is always prompt with returning calls, texts, and emails. When it comes time to sell our place instead of renting it, he'll be the one we turn too.

She dropped the ball on major communication related to contractual obligations which did cause issues on the day of settlement. We were very close to walking away from a home we love. She stages beautiful homes for which she takes an extra percent. More importantly, she does not fulfill the basic duties of her job and leaves it all to her assistant, Kate. In our case, she put her sellers at risk of loosing a sale because of her lack of follow through. I would never want to work with an agent like her.

We weren't exactly sure what we were looking for, so we did a little house hunting on our own. We met with a few realtors and looked at a few houses, but we didn't find who or what we were looking for. We decided we needed to find a realtor that knew the area and could tell us about the character of the neighborhoods where we were searching. The Donna Kerr Group had some good reviews so we decided to give them a try. It's a small firm that really knows the Internet well. We sent a short email with our contact info, search area, and basic wish list. We immediately got a response from Donna, who referred us to Lewis Temple. Lewis came to meet us at our condo, and had in hand a binder he made for us of areas we should look at, graphs showing property values, school ratings, etc. So we decided that we'd let him show us some things and go from there. Lewis and the Donna Kerr Group do this amazing thing; they set up an Internet search with your specific requests and desired locations. All you have to do is sort the properties into three categories: yes, no, and maybe. We clicked and sorted and came up with a very, very long list. Lewis helped us narrow down our choices; he has an extensive knowledge of the metro DC area, various neighborhoods, and even local realtors, builders, and contractors. We spent a few afternoons driving around with Lewis and looking at homes. Lewis was patient with us as a picked our way through a large list of homes, telling a little history of the neighborhoods and showing us the local haunts. After a month of searching we found our dream home! Lewis helped us put our offer together, and I can now say that we are very proud homeowners. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for in a home and neighborhood that we love. Lewis stood by us through the whole process. As a side note, Lewis is also a master electrician and was able to point to details in the construction of the homes we looked at that even our home inspector missed. Next it was time to sell the small condo we called home for so many years. Lewis sent in his expert, Cara, who told us exactly what to do to de-clutter and stage our condo. She even picked out paint colors for us, and found a painter who could come that same week. Once we de-cluttered and had a little touch up painting done, Cara came back and took the most amazing photos of our condo. The condo was on the market the next day with a perfect description, her beautiful photos, and an open house that weekend. Our condo was under contract at asking price unbelievably fast, less than one month after we listed it. They even designed a unique website for our listing! We have now settled into our beautiful new home and absolutely love it. I can't express how great our experience with this team of service-oriented professionals has been. They are very, very good at their jobs, and they are wonderful people. I recommend that if you are looking to buy and/or sell your home you try Lewis Temple and the Donna Kerr Group!

Do they provide any input a capable person could not research own their own. We purchased a investment home last year after Henry had shown it to us. We wanted to wait a year before we reviewed Henry to make sure he wasn't one of those real estate agents who disappears when the deal is done and follows up every year with a pre-printed holiday card or a refrigerator magnet with their face on it. I can say confidently that not only is Henry a great resource for information, but he also really went beyond the scope of his work many times throughout the whole home buying process. We had multiple properties in different locations throughout the Maryland area and he really did the homework and understood each property before each viewing. As we are planning to purchase our next property Henry has been fantastic throughout the year fielding our questions and even keeping us abreast on new developments. Furthermore, since he is an investor himself he knows the Maryland real estate investment market well and was able to shepherd us in the right direction with loans, housing, inspectors, etc. If plan to buy a him in the Montgomery County or surrounding area go with Henry, you won't regret it!

I would use Henry again in the future for my real estate needs.
