Julia is amazing! She is very thorough and extremely knowledgable about selling/buying homes. Julia helped us sell our previous home in less than 2 weeks and now we are working with her and under contract on our new home! While in the process of renovating our townhouse for a late August market, I was somewhat skeptical, wondering if we had possibly missed our window for the season. Not being from the Baltimore Area, but just there to renovate an investment property, I was somewhat at a disadvantage for knowing of or finding a Realtor. We looked online for a week or so, and came across Red Cedar Real Estate, which was highly rated in the counties we were looking at. I read that Peter specialized in working with first time home buyers -- that alone made me give him a call. About a year and a half ago my husband and I were looking at possibly selling our home and moving into a bigger space. I had been looking around at different realtors and different agencies when I came across Peter's website and subscribed to it. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Peter and his team to buy our first home a couple months ago. I had never heard of Red Cedar until I started the process of becoming a first time home buyer. I interviewed quite a few agents with different companies to try and get a feel for what they would bring to the table and how they would help me find my home. I was pretty pleased when I interviewed Peter and thought that he was the most knowledgeable, would be the best fit for me, and was the only one I had talked to who didn't charge an administrative fee! It was a great combo. We just sold our house with Red Cedar real estate and couldn't be happier. We wanted to go with a smaller company instead of one of the larger real estate giants because I feel like customers can often get lost in the mix when a company is that large. I met with Peter and he seemed very knowledgeable and professional and I was very impressed with the company. We were very nervous putting our home up for sale during the "off season," but we wound up getting 4 offers within two days and settled on an offer above what we were expecting. The pictures they took of our house were bright and gorgeous, they even had a virtual home tour where you could walk through the different rooms of the house. They added automatic lights, so when potential buyers walked through during the winter, it would not seem as dark. We did everything from 1600 miles away, communication mostly through email.
