Lynette was recommended to me by my real estate agent and I can't say how pleased I was with the service I received. As a first time homebuyer, I had a lot of apprehensions both practically (there's lots of paperwork) and, admittedly, emotionally. I didn't know what I didn't know and that was intimidating. I had an issue with a home purchase I was making fall through. My original attorney and real estate agent did not provide me very much information on why or if it was even legal what they were doing, for about a month I sat in confusion on if I had any recourse. Be sure to get a contract in writing of how much your cost is before you close. I was told in the beginning that her fee would be $500 for a real estate close. There were many ups and downs with trying to find a sound deal and she and her team did a lot of work in trying to get sellers and banks to move the approval process along. There was no conversation of extra costs or invoices sent during this year long period. Finally, I got a clear to close on a home. At the bank, I called to find out how much I needed to withdraw to take care of the entire close. I was informed that her fee had gone from $500 to $1900. I did not have enough money to cover this and she didnt take credit cards. Luckily, she worked it out where I could pay her later. I didn't mind paying extra because as I mentioned, she was with me in the trenches during the craziness that happens with short sales. But I wish I didn't find out while sitting in front of a bank manager an hour before I'm supposed to close on my first home. read more

I have dealt with Lynette for more than 8 years and had her act as counsel for more than 100 real estate transactions.
