Backstory: I discovered only a few days before a deadline to submit documents to a European country for an application, that it still required my recently certified Alabama birth certificate to have an extra level of official verification called an "apostille" (who knew that was a thing?) which can be issued only by a state's Secretary of State's Office. I'm in California so I scrambled online to find a service to do this on my behalf. Every business I called including national companies that specialize in this could not pull off the task in the few days I had to make deadline. Golden Notary could and did so in crazy fast speed. Get this: I overnighted the birth certificate to Sara. Next morning by 8am California time/10am central time, she'd gotten my FedEx delivery, already been to the state office and obtained the certification/apostille! She scanned the documents and emailed them (I think she had told me she has scanner in her mobile office) then put the paper docs in an overnight delivery to me with tracking number. And did all this for a great rate that was noticeably less than every other place I called(which also couldn't pull this off before my deadline). I'm not a plant here to gin up a good review! I never heard of Golden Notary or Sara before I did an internet search for "mobile notary" and came across their listing. But I'm truly grateful I did.

That is, after all, what a review is for. To clarify, I contacted you through this app on the 20th, you are correct. However, I called and spoke with someone on the 9th, 11 days before commenting through this app. He asked what I had to move, did it have stairs and where was I moving from and to where and also asked what date I needed you for. I told him the date that I had to be out by was the 30th and I could be flexible as long as it was by the 30th. He informed me that someone would be contacting me back with a price and date at that time. I never heard back anything by phone and even tried calling again with no answer a couple of times. I then posted through this app with the project scheduling on the 20th, four days before your defensive comment back to me, without an apology, I might add. If I could give zero stars for this company I would just on the basis of you not offering an apology for my experience and getting defensive with me when I'm just posting my experience with your company for others to be able to make an informed decision based on reviews. This isn't personal, I don't know you. I just simply did not have a good experience with your company.

There happened to be someone from Maxie's Affordable Bail Bonds bailing someone else out when I…read morearrived at booking and she asked if I needed her before she left. I told her probably. Once I got in touch with someone to sign the bond and she knew they were on there way she got the paperwork ready and waited there for them to arrive. When they arrived she had already signed the release and I was standing outside with her. So the person signing only had to pay and sign the bond in the parking lot and I was free. Very friendly and on top of everything. You call and check in weekly and show up for court and you'll never have an issue. Hopefully I won't ever need a bondsman again but if I do they will be my first call and I would and do recommend them to everyone.

I have called countless times a day for 2 weeks, I have sent emails and texts. David has taken our money and ran, we will be seeking retribution through legal means as this was theft.
