What makes her amazing is that she gives excellent knowledge of helping a client have and maintain a healthy head of hair. She has a great passion for the art that she provides, which is very rare to find, because most stylist are in it for the money only, which doesn't necessarily make them a great stylist. I normally get hard freeze curls, but Cristina explained that she can do it, but prefers not to and then broke it down to me as to why she won't do it. We literally talked 45 mins (consultation) before she started the services on me. I felt so comfortable talking to her, it felt as though I known her for years. I could go on, but all I will say is that I would HIGHLY recommend Cristina (the owner) to anyone. And just as the website states it is a multicultural salon. She does all types and textures of hair.

Jon was the 1st to come up with consistently good reviews. I have a graduated bob and like to keep it modern but not too trendy as I has a conservative job. Jon did a wonderful job! So far I've been to him 3 times, the last for a cut and color. The highlighting he did turned out perfectly! He does take a while, but it was well worth it. Next my my hairdresser back in Portland, he has done the best job on my hair so far. My only complaint is the constant TV watching. I'd prefer music and not being bombarded "X Factor" and the like. Nonetheless, I ABSOLUTELY think he's the best!

jon is a super nice guy, however i could not in good conscience tell you to go here for a cut…read more again,i am ONLY speaking of a cut...he may be spectacular with color. i took pictures with me and he layered my curly hair (dry cut, which i've never had done before). i ended up having to cut off at least 1 1/2" from my length (which i did NOT want to loose) to make the cut even semi-liveable. it was like i had a bowl of curls around my head and there was no blending of layers at all, just a big 5" or better jump to the end of my hair. it still wasn't good and needed to be blended so i had to go to another salon (in SC while visiting friends) to have it fixed. its better now but i've lost all my length and have WAY shorter layers than i wanted. it's going to take years to get things grown out to where i wanted them. :(

I wanted to give her a chance as I could have messed it up just as bad lol (but not $50 bad) I told her I wanted to keep the top long, sides shaved but work on the back growing to a point. I was expecting a semi fade from short (back) to long (front). I even told Jamie I'm letting her as a styltest to undo my rat nest of hair. Even the sides being shaved we talked about doing a 1 to a fade to a 2 but she obv didn't feel comfortable doing that....a basic fade so we went with an over all 1 I ended up with a legit reverse mullet (picture shown). I showed my coworkers and even tho I laughed it off they even were mad for me. As a stylist you thought a reverse nullet was ok?!? Idk if it was bad communication or she was scared to work on my hair or what.... $52 (with a tip) for shaved sides and a trim....a basic men's hair cut..... I knew I should have gone to a barber who could have done the SAME JOB but better as well for cheaper. I don't understand why women are changed almost triple for the same hair cut that men pay more than half the price. 3rd picture. The top in my hand is what was long and was trimmed. The back was the length of the overall lower half of my hair. As you see she just shaved the sides, trimmed the top and decided to call it good. I didn't realize this till i was showing it off and people pointed it out that there was no blending/fade from top to back

I received the worst haircut of my entire life here last month. The gentleman in the middle chair…read morecompletely disregarded my request for a regular side parted cut and gave me the most uneven, poorly cut severe military (or prison) haircut. I showed up with probably four and a half inches on top, and asked for a regular parted haircut and he spent about three minutes giving me a single length buzzcut. It is way too short to even comb. It was done so fast and carelessly I didn't have any time to stop him. They have vacuum tubes attached to the clippers so I had no idea until it was all over that the vast majority of my hair had been entirely buzzed off. I don't remember him using scissors even once. **Avoid this place at all costs.** No wonder there was no one else in the shop when I got there. They do not listen to paying customers, they are very rude, and think everyone just needs a buzzcut. Except for the barber, his own hair was very long. Curious. Wonder what that's about. Glad he can keep his hair, I'll probably be in a hat for several months. I'd give zero stars if possible. Location is convenient though.
