I realize there are things that go on in colleges and alot of troubles. Teachers and others are scared to death of students cause of all this stupid rioting and crap that is going on. BUT they are students out there who are NOT like all the rest. You are lumping them all together. You are accusing them and not listening to them, you just assume YOUR right or your teacher is right! The school Administration needs to remember labeling is very wrong and can cause damage! Trying to work or FIX the problems is your job not labeling and saying teacher is right and not giving the student a chance. Someone so on edge could read things wrong and don't try to see anything but the way they want to see; what kind of Administration and teachers are you ? A teacher is suppose to help a student if they are so afraid I don't think that teacher needs to be around students or teaching!! They could have a problem maybe a change is needed. Wonder what others would think of your College if they really knew how this went down and knew the whole story!! This is how things get out of control. I undersand how life is but if people don't start trying and making the first step to trust and try understand others we are a sad people! Hendrix college, where we don't care about the students. To start I had large sum of clothing…read morestolen from the dorm hall washing room on multiple occasions. The response to this was excellent the director of residence life pretty much told me to screw off because the clothes being stolen was my fault. I can understand this to an extent but let me remind you this college costs 50,000+ a year to go to. After getting this amazing response I talked to the dean although he wasn't rude he gave the implication that he would do something for me. Now weeks past with no response to my issue. Next we have the amazing aquatics director, after telling me on multiple occasions that work was available over the summer I booked my flight to fly to Arkansas from Florida, with this she begins ignore my emails and phone calls until the flight is a week away and decides to tell me they were no longer look for help. But wait there's more ranging from public Safty(our campuses security) harassment... and so on.
