This current administration is a good one. Burks was amazing. Social things like dorm parties and shorts inbth3 afternoon should get heartfelt consideration. I think Harding University has great alumni and that is a strength.

Most of the reviews on here do not give a fair assessment of the school. Your experience will…read moredepend on where you connect yourself. You have to make those connections yourself and put in the work. College cannot cater to each individual student. I have met many students who have had a wonderful and fruitful time at Harding cause they put in the work and learned to grow up. If you want to be treated like an adult you have to act like one, unfortunately that's how the world works. Harding has loosened up the past few years on rules but it is a Christian school who is attempting to uphold Christian standards. If those aren't your standards than this is not your school. You cannot diss on a school with standards not your own, that's rather unfair to them. I've loved this school, not everything is fantastic I will admit because it's a human run institution but the community I have here is amazing. You just have to find what works for you and where you fit in. College is what you put into it, college doesn't cater to your laziness.

Ugh...that first review on the haunted house was horrendous. It was so painful to read. The grammar…read moreand spelling made it feel like my brain was walking across a field of sharpened Lego pieces. I mean, there's a spell checker on Yelp and most computers/phones that you would write a review on have spelling and grammar checks that would literally take less than a minute to complete. Anyway, the college here is best described as cows grazing in a field. They're eating and moving around but not really doing anything or going anywhere. There's a few professors here who are diamonds in the rough but most should have spent their education careers at a daycare thanks to their insatiable egos and apathy. I went here for my basics to stay close to friends and family but eventually got tired of the lazy administrative staff that could care less about whether you enroll or get benefits and moved on to a standard four-year for my BA. I actually had to pay for one of my semesters out of pocket because they incorrectly submitted my VA benefits in spite of me working with them. After speaking to several classmates over the year and change I was there, I came to realize that my experience was a pretty regular occurrence with many, not just vets. Never in my entire life have I seen employees who care so little about their job or their clients and will do anything to get out of doing work. Sure, you're greeted with a smile, a handshake, and some wonderful sounding promises, but behind all that shallow fluff, you're being dismissed in the minds of the faculty and staff.

HAUNTED HOUSE This is not for the college per say..My husband me and my children went here last…read morenight for their Kids Bash.. Although I know several of the people that attend this university, You were unable to see their faces because it was so dark, they had masks on and were painted up. We had to take a hayride into the "woods" (the haunted house was on campus) Then you had to get off and walk across the broken down bridge. Finally you get to the house, its all black and all you can see is flashing lights. Our tour guide told us to stay close and dont get lost. When we first walked in it was a guy just lying on a couch with a knife in hes chest. Pretty funny if you ask me, he was trying to be slick and scare everyone by waking up. You couldnt see where the hell you were going so I have no idea who or what was in front of me and suddenly SMACK a freaking doll hit me on the head. They had dolls hanging by there necks suspended from the ceiling. The next room that was lit up was of a women vampire, she didnt do anything but smile, so she sucked!! We went on this damn bus, I didnt even know we were on a bus till our tour guide yelled "watch your step were getting off the bus now". What I was freakin out when the hell did I get on this bus???Next we went across another bridge and of course people were grabbing your legs, which was pretty funny because im so ticklish. But we get off the bridge and were in what looks to be a Forest, trees everywhere I lost my husband somewhere in the damn forest so im freaking out, IM LOST!! Suddenly all you could hear is roaring chainsaws all around me and Star,(my oldest daughter) as she had stayed with me. They started chasing us, my daughter started screaming so I had to hold her all 40 pounds of her and make my way through this forest. Whomever it was they thought it was pretty funny and started poking me and her with the damn prop. Im not going to lie I was scared shit less. I should have gotten high before going in there!! Finally after running to catch up with my husband I fucking pushed him so hard into the damn wall, now that was funny!!!! I couldnt tell you what was after the forest because I just closed my eyes and hoped it would be coming to the end very soon. We finally got out of the house, and making our way back to the old ass bridge to cross that and go back on the hay ride one of the guys with the chainsaw started chasing me and Star again. He/She didnt go after my husband nor the others. My husband was rolling with laughter. So im wondering if it was someone we knew. He wont tell me. But it was pretty fun.. Worth the trip down there to see!
