There are not enough yelp stars to really convey the quality of this practice. Lyresa, Nasim and Roy are the real deal. I began seeing Lyresa nearly two decades ago. I have been extremely active cross training, running, skiing, English Riding, tennis you name it. I originally was referred to Lyresa by Dr. Saxena for plantar. I had had the condition for 8 mos. Because I had been to so many other chiropractors with NO results, when I met Lyresa, I told her I would give her a month to solve the problem as I was weary from all my prior experiences with chiropractors wanting you to be on the life long plan. She said if you come in 2x a week, for a month, I can solve this. In three weeks, I was back to running 6 miles a day 5 times a week with no pain. Since then I have seen her four neck, shoulder, back all with great results. Why is this practice so good. Well, simply put, they are just plain smart. They have many modalities (use some or all) because let's face it no one really knows what will work and how. They also work surrounding muscles, which oftentimes is the culprit. They also don't do many of the silly hocus pocus stuff of other chiropractors. They also don't try to sell you a lot of supplements etc. They also let you know when to seek other specialties - such as a doctor. Additionally on many occasions they refer to specific knowledge and if I want to learn, they will remember and bring it to my attention. One the last year plus I see Lyresa and Nasim. Well, I cannot say enough about Nasim. Kind, wicked smart, extremely good at what she does. She, like Lyresa listen, ask the right questions and really really care. I have now referred about 10 plus people to this practice and they too are long time clients. Roy is also a lovey person and great therapist for massage. They all so complement each other. Lastly, this practice unlike nearly all of them still takes all kinds of insurance. Not an easy thing to do in this day and age. Hillary does a great job too with appointment reminders and squeezing you in and managing the insurance, which means she is patient and smart. This team will be your best ally in your search to get out of pain and back to what you are doing. Seriously, if they cannot do it, then no one can. Because of them at 56, I will stay active and healthy hopefully into my golden years. They are also open right now and taking patients which again they do because they CARE! I came in because of my back pain. Dr. Pleskovitch spent about 15 min with me talking about my back pain and then she brought in another person to do a massage that was super light touching not even a massage. I mentioned about it a few times but nothing changed. Then I was so surprised that I had to pay $160 out of pocket for something that was far from chiropractic care. Very disappointed. read more

I chose this chiropractor office because they said on their website that they took their time to see patients. I'm happy.to say that that's true. My appointment lasted for an hour and it involved an assessment a professional massage with an outstanding masseuse and ultrasound therapy and finally the adjustments. I have been seeing Lyressa for more than 15 years. I recently moved out of the Palo Alto area but will not stop seeing her as I have never found anyone as nice, professional, dedicated and humane as she is. I have referred more than 5 people and not one came back dissatisfied. I am not an easy guy to work on as I am 5'11 and 276 pounds yet "Little Lyressa" as I like to call her can manipulate my spine and ribs when other DC's twice her size and weight could not do a thing. I especially appreciate her work and knowledge on both soft tissue and manipulation along with trying to find the source of the real problem; i.e. sitting at work, playing with my kids, etc. She will not sell you a bill of goods and services as she is upfront in what she can and cannot treat. I just love Lyresa! She is a wonderful chiropractor who uses mixed approaches to get to the root of the problem. I came to her with an old soccer injury--strained calf--that made it difficult to do anything more than walk at a medium pace. I had seen a PT and acupuncturist with little relief. She did her magic using EPAT, and voila! A couple months later I was back to doing my more strenuous exercises. She is a miracle worker. She of course also does great traditional adjustments. I love that she works not only on bones, but also deep tissue. She is amazingly strong. Not to mention her prices are quite reasonable and accepts a lot of insurances. I would highly recommend her to anyone--and have. Plantar fasciitis miracle!!! Dr. Pleskovitch had done wonders for my occasional hip and neck pain for the past two years, but I hadn't thought to consult her for my recently diagnosed plantar fasciitis. I had suffered over 2 months of constant pain, with no relief from the podiatrist or the inserts he recommended, when I finally went to Dr. P. She had me completely cured after 4 visits, with each visit resulting in drastic improvement. Some of the massage and manipulations were uncomfortable, but a lot of it felt so good. I was seen again in 2017, this time for problems with the right foot and leg. I was actually seen by a multidisciplinary team that included a podiatrist, a sports medicine podiatrist, and a physical medicine doctor at PAMF, who referred me to Lyresa and took over managing my pain issues because the podiatrists determined that it was not their area of expertise. I also received a very helpful foot scanning and advice at Fleet Feet in Menlo Park - the scan was sent to the doctors. have structural issues with the skeleton that would not go away, but are not severe enough to necessitate a surgery. Lyresa applied several techniques and gave me advice on footwear. I have been virtually pain-free since having just a few visits with her. I know pain may return and I know Lyresa will be there to help. I highly recommend Lyresa to people who deal with structural issues and suffer from chronic pain. I should also note that Lyresa did not advise me to order expensive custom insoles from her, saying that they would not necessarily work any better than insoles bought at a running store. I bought the insoles she recommended and they have been working very well. She even advised me that occasionally I can offer ballet flats with those insoles I normally would put in sneakers, and yes, it works. In the past I had soft insoles in ballet flats that Fleet Feet sold me but they were insufficient - I need hard insoles. Lyresa also provided exercise recommendations. My partner and I were lucky enough to find Lyresa about 18 years ago when I was working in the same building as her previous one on California Ave. I had a huge phobia of chiropractors from a bad experience when I was about 20 but so many people in the building spoke well of her that I went to see her and I have never been sorry. Some time after that my partner developed a pain and a problem that actually got him to a doctors office - a very rare event. The symptoms seemed to point to a kidney problem but 8 months of doctors and testing couldn't figure it out. I mention it to Lyresa during one of my visits and she had a thought about what it could be & suggested he come in. One visit and his pain was relieved by 70% - 2 visits and bam he was good to go and it has never come back. I kid you not! We moved to the Sacramento area in 1999 and we still drive 2.5 hrs to see her when need be. . I did try someone local & recommended when I jammed my shoulder up digging a new garden bed with a pickaxe. 5 visits and no relief .
