Despite some skill gained through practice, I still find it difficult to read the handwritten documents from that era. When the exact text is critical, I need a professional, and Stilogo is absolutely outstanding. I contacted them through their website, sent in an order from Jefferson, Georgia, USA for the transcription of a 5 page letter that was critical to my research, and received back two transcriptions, one a legible and accurate rendering of the document using the original spelling and punctuation, and the other an adaptation of the transcription using modern language and punctuation to increase readability. The fee was 25 euros per page and the service was fast and responsive. I was very pleased with the service received and highly recommend Stilogo to anyone needing similar work.
