The place was very clean, very posh. They are 3 years old and it shows. Decor is modern and classy. Michael gave us a tour. He was excellent. He was very responsive beforehand. He has you parking at the one spot in front with your name on it. They had your name printed out on the table. The whole experience was a good one. Eduardo and some staff are amazing but it seems their hands are tied by corporate. Since being taken over it has gotten more expensive, but the only money they put in is the updated lobby that people see first. My dad's hallway has been a disaster area since December with a "remodel". He had to be out of his room twice for 8 hours bc they were working on it. Luckily he had my place to come to, but what about those that don't? Had to be locked in their rooms or chill in the lobby. This was 2 months ago, the pictures are from last week. My husband was hit in the head by an alarm hanging from the ceiling that's been that way for 2 months. What if that was my 89 year old parent and he fell? So unsafe. Dad was having plumbing troubles and they came to look at it. Said someone near him flushed something they shouldn't have. Their solution was that he get a container to put all his toilet paper in and he can't flush paper anymore. HE PAYS $2,400 a month for a small studio with no kitchen!! He can't even flush his toilet paper. When they came to check it they left the bathroom a mess and left the dirty plunger in the shower floor. This is unacceptable. The residents deserve better.

By some miracle, I stumbled onto Catherine who was a godsend. I had a very short time to move my family member from a rehab center to an assisted living facility close to me. With Catherine's quick response, I had appointments to tour five facilities in a matter of hours and was able to tour these places over a three-day period. Catherine followed up each time I toured a place to ask my thoughts about the place and what were positive and negative qualities about each place as it related to my family member. My brother and I went to five different assisted and Memory Care Facilities around the Temecula Murrieta area, and all of their memory cares look like zombieland. Very few caregivers, everybody sitting around doing nothing, no music, no one doing activities no laughing and very very depressing. And then we found Vineyard Ranch. The facility is beautiful and very well-kept. When we walked into the memory care, everybody was out of their rooms and doing something. People were laughing, talking activities were going on everywhere, and staff were visible throughout the rooms. Completely different environment and that made us very, very happy. She has been there for 3 weeks now, and she doesn't mention going home at all. She tells everyone this is her home and that she loves it there. She's always doing an activity and keeping busy. She's made a lot of friends. The food is good and she finishes all of her meals. Staff are always there to keep an eye on everyone. After any exercise, the staff brings everyone protein smoothies. Every Thursday they have an excursion to someplace fun and stimulating. At a time when dealing with a situation like this, it can be extremely stressful and create feelings of guilt. Vineyard Ranch has made the transition smooth, easy, and very pleasant. We are so happy to see Mom happy laughing and involved. Couldn't ask for more than that.

We…read moredidn't realize how bad the first place was until we came to Serenity Haven and saw what an assisted living facility should be like. She has been at Serenity Haven for about 9 months now. The staff is kind and generous. They really care for their patients and work well with family members to provide the care that is needed and expected. My Mom loves it there and rarely wants to leave because she is so comfortable with the staff and her surroundings. Maryann and Vicky are especially great! The facility is clean and neat. The staff provides activities, like bingo, make-overs, exercise classes, and even take the residents on outings. The staff threw Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations for the residents and their families with all the trimmings and even gave personalized gifts to each resident. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a caring place for their family member. I know my Mom would recommend it too!

A time for meals, they play UNO, they have outside time and my mom was going downhill when she first arrived and needed a walker. They keep an eye on their patients,their meals are very healthy and the organized functions help to keep them together with their families ie esp on holidays. We're welcoming the new clinical nurse's assistants (CNA) & Med Techs to lessen the overall workload of those already here. Our meals have improved in size & varieties. The activities director keeps residents engaged with fun things to do, but a lack of enthusiasm from most residents make actually going little more than a time suck. I'm still getting really settled in after 14 mos, so it's understandable. What I find just as hurtful as it is unprofessional is the caustic, back-biting demeanors of Some of the top managers. It's really quite stupid to bring such mean, middle school,cliche-ish behavior to work. Serves only to put how little regard u have towards the people u work for on Blast! ESPECIALLY,those residents who suffer with dementia-related issues, who may lose their way or not comply with salty directives given by employees who "are just sooo tired of a res's limitations!" Even during times when Mom has been a bit of a challenge they have treated her with respect and consulted me with the best plan of action.
