Our 91-year old mother broke her ankle and required constant attention 24 hours a day. We were unable to provide that care as she lived 2 hours away. The skilled nursing facility that Dorothy was in recommend Golden Touch Companion, and we hired them after meeting with Priscilla McDonald. Dorothy was very demanding, a difficult patient in constant pain. The caregivers treated our mother professionally, with kindness and patience. We were updated on her condition daily. All In One Home…read moreCare, LLC owned by Araceli Cortez and Maria Isabel Martinez, was referred to us by a physician who was know throughout the city. Araceli required a two week "up front" retainer so she could secure employee's for our care needs. The retainer fee was over $15,000.00. We did this in good faith, plus her agreement indicated that 30 days after termination we would get our retainer back. Her services were terminated on April 17th, 2023. Araceli's company was paid a 30 notice, when we terminated her services. Per her contract agreement, the retainer should have been paid within 30 days. There have been several conversation's requesting repayment and we still have not received the payment. It's my opinion if you are required to pay an "up front retainer" you may never get it back.

I was pretty familiar with the Lindens dining program and I really liked it. I have yet to warm up to the new menu and dinner specials. I have been disappointed with the quality, portion size and the service, but mom enjoys it and won't complain about much. I don't dine in as much as in the past and family meals are more difficult as the staff doesn't server tables larger then four. I see some of the same faces and some are welcome smiles.

My father had dementia and received the most compassionate treatment until his passing. My mother still lives there and is very adored by the staff and other residents. They make a point to assist her and check on her frequently as she is physically disabled. She is very happy there and quite popular. She enjoys the activities and has made many friends.
