Great service! Just purchased a home and they were able to put up a brand new side gate for us. It did take awhile to get an appointment, but I suspect because they're very popular. Only drawback? Im a very loyal customer once I find a company/person that's great at what they do. I figured this company, I would use and recommend for all my fence/gate needs. But when I reached back out to them to repair another fence for me (there's literally multiple posts that are warped, open, etc), they said they are not repairing fences. Maybe they'd rather only focus on building from scratch, I have no clue as they didn't communicate why. But what was disappointing was that after I reached out about repairing my fence, they kept asking me to send photos, as if I would be able to hire them again. Then they stopped responding. Btw, Yelp has a feature where you can see if your message has been read. So the were reading my messages and not responding. Just ignoring me. After a few follow-ups, they finally told me they were not doing repairs, which sucks. So now I'm on the hunt for a new company, but that just means if they're good, I will stick with them. Our fence was partially washed away during Harvey, and we were focused on addressing the flood damage to our house until recently. When we finally made time to look for fence repair, we looked on Yelp and a few other services to find places with good reviews. While M & D didn't have reviews on Yelp, it got good reviews elsewhere. So we included them in our request for bids through Yelp. M & D provided a bid that was 1/3 less than several of the other fencing companies we reached out to through the Yelp app. And it was materially less than the next lowest bid. The work looked good on their website and we felt comfortable going forward with them after we met Antonio in person. Boy, are we glad we made that choice. Antonio and his helper were incredible. They worked quickly to clear the areas where the fences would be, came up with good solutions when we realized we probably had a power company easement to address, and rapidly put up a beautiful, straight, well-constructed fence. Within a few short days we had nearly 500 feet of cedar pickets. They even cleared away the fence and assorted debris our less-than-neighborly back neighbor left when he cleared off his post-Harvey mess by leaving it in our backyard. (Which is another reason we are thrilled to have such a great fence.) Yesenia was responsive over email and helped coordinate our meetings with Antonio. We only regret we didn't call them sooner. We had our side fence replaced a few years ago but didn't have the gate between it and the garage done then. We contacted that company recently to get the gate done but never heard anything. I went through 4 or 5 companies trying to get someone to give me a quote to install the gate, but I guess it was too small a job to mess with?! I finally contacted M&D fencing and got a quick response. I sent photos in email of the old gate and got a quote over email, and then set up a time for him to come replace it a couple weeks later. Once Victor got here, the gate was done in no time - it is GREAT, it looks good and works to hide our trash cans behind.
