When I advised Alexandra of our decision, she used that opportunity to berate me with a political rant about how we are the problem and creating more issues for the planet by contributing to landfill overuse. This was, in my opinion, completely unprofessional and uncalled for. We actually donated the stools to a family who was happy to use them as they were. My suggestion to any service professional is to keep your political or social cause leanings to yourself. You are likely to alienate 50% of the people you interact with otherwise.

Freddie came out to the house and measured everything. After doing some calculations, he told us how much fabric we needed and quoted us $700 for the job and made me sign a piece of paper in agreement. He took a picture of that signed agreement and left. After purchasing the fabric, I reached out to Freddie to set up a date and time to come pick up the fabric and mattress. At that time he told me that he had to re-quote the job. That $700 was not enough. I've called back twice and have not heard back from him. So, not sure what happened, but $700 was already a lot of money for us and if that was not going to be enough, he should've told us from the beginning. They removed the old fabric, added new wood bases for better support, covers with my fabric and even added cording to finish the look, all in just a few days.
