I had three major considerations: I wanted something very easy to maintain; I wanted native plants and flowers that would attract butterflies; and I wanted it to be enjoyable for all the wild critters who live in our yard. Marc is great - I love his vision, enthusiasm, and wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. He walked the property with me and pointed out what was native and what was invasive (I have very little horticultural knowledge), and how he thought different designs could improve the space in this way or that, depending on how we wanted to use it. He gave a bunch of options and ideas, and listened to what I wanted. It felt very collaborative, which was nice. And he is great at explaining things you don't quite understand. Marc and Matt and Colin, and several more workers whose names I didn't catch, came out to do the job on time on the assigned day, well-prepared. The weather was off-and-on rain, which didn't remotely slow down the crew. They were all working hard all day - you'll see from the photos there was a lot to do. In addition to a full yard cleanup which in itself was a beast of a job, they redesigned/redefined several beds, planted a perfect pollinator garden in the back that I have been wanting there for years, trimmed/pruned trees, shaped hedges, reshaped the backyard, mulched everything, and planted three beautiful young sweet bay magnolias out front. It was a big job and took two days. The crews were great - polite and hardworking, with no complaints even when they were getting soaked. Marc came by each day to meet with me, explain what was being done, and get my input. He also met with and worked with his crew, mapped out where everything was going. He was out in the pouring rain with his crew, unloading trees from the truck and doing whatever was needed. They were an impressive team. I am beyond thrilled with the results of all the hard work they did. And so excited to sit outside this summer enjoying it all. Thank you, Native. I had verified with owner that the phone numbers show Kirtland on my phone and that the business is located on E 63rd but could not verify a business phone# on google and owner does not want to communicate via Yelp text....

This company is very quick to take your money and deposit it. However, they will not answer phone or emails, at all. My elderly mother was stuck twice this winter, unable to go anywhere. We aren't even halfway through winter yet and I am so disappointed. They haven't come on time once. I was late to work many times. If it snows three times, they only come once. my sister and I have to shovel our long driveway ourselves to go to the doctors or store, why are we paying a service to do it ourselves? they put in sticks in the fall to determine the width and then ran over them so now they cant tell how wide is our driveway and only plows half the driveway. They haven't replaced the sticks, which is in the contract as their responsibility, and they won't answer the phone. I really hope these people are ready to retire because they are losing business year after year with no integrity at all. Please do not hire them. They do not care. I can't express to you how inconvenient they have made our lives. This is an essential service people rely on. It can be dangerous to have an unreliable service. We were stuck so many times this winter. Our next door neighbor in comparison had a service that was more reliable, will be going with them moving forward.
