A short time ago we called this business to check our hydronic (In floor) heating system. We SPECIFIED that was why they were being called. m&r sent two young native boys/young men to check the system out, and give us a report. These two people stood in front of the heating unit looking at it, and doing nothing more. We asked questions about the system condition, and how to check, and operate it. Neither of m&r's people had any idea what to check, or how to check it. We asked if they had an AMPCLAMP, a meter for measuring current draw. They did not. All they had was a common VOM, which would not tell anyone anything. One of the two simply stood looking up at the machine, saying nothing. We asked the "Knowledgeable" one , who was holding the useless meter, if the circulating pump was running. This kid put his hand on the pump, and said that it was running, which was obvious. M&R charged us over THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for NOT doing what they specifically hired to do. M&R should be ashamed of what they did to an elderly, limited income, couple. This is not a "Shill review", posted by employees, and friends, it is our first hand experience. NEVER HIRE M&R (DIS) SERVICE! One star is far too many. read more

Very knowledgeable technicians came on Sunday and quickly diagnosed and repaired the water heater.

Will recommend everyone to M&R Service! Have used their plumbing experts and their electrical experts and both are fantastic! I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the M&R Plumbing staff. I recently had a leak that I found on a Saturday. The leak was outside of our home but soaked the drywall and carpet inside. Stephen came out and was able to find and stop the leak. Then the restoration crew came out, removed the wet dry wall, dried the wall and carpet and repaired it. These guys are amazing, and I will never use another company. read more

Tito repaired my air conditioner and provided excellent service. He made it clear that he genuinely cares about his work and he was friendly and professional. The service was to replace a bad blower motor and Tito understood the urgency of not having air conditioning in the middle of summer and did everything he could to get it fixed quickly. read more

I had been a diamond club member for over a year and didn't use it . I had to get my credit card changed because of fraud. So the diamond club payments didn't go through. Tuesday night as I prepared for a night's rest, I discovered a funny squishy sound at a certain spot of my bedroom hardwood floor. My water heater was failing. Early Wednesday morning I called M&R Plumbing, one of the few who are mentioned with a Yelp site, and with three positive reviews. I spoke with a nice guy (name? Travis maybe? Sorry.) He told me they were pretty booked, and it looked like a wait until next day was likely. I said OK as it was short notice. 10 minutes later, he called back saying they had just had a cancellation and could have someone there in 20 minutes. Justin arrived soon after and tore into the project with a happy vengeance. Like a dog with a new bone. He explained everything clearly that he was going to do, the likely costs, and got approvals. And like he said about 3 hours later I had a new and beautiful up to code system. Justin was quick, clean, precise, skilled, and did I mention quick? There was no running for parts, stopping for a smoke, or even coffee. He just got it done. How he moved the old one out, and the new one in place, I'll never know. He had to work in a small closet in the garage, two feet off the ground. He got the new one in, and even in a new pan to catch any future failures, cutting a drain pipe to the outside. All in all, a great job. I will not hesitate to call these folks again for anything. Very pleased. Job well done! read more

We had a major leak in the ceiling of our bathroom, (in the new house we just bought). The ceiling caved in and what a mess! M&R came to our rescue! They fixed the leak and took care of everything. They charge $129.00 to give you an estimate. Then the plumber brings out a "plumbing guide" to tell you what you will have to pay them. It my case it was $600.00. I told him it was too much and asked him to leave. I had another plumber do the work for $190.00. M&R thinks after you've invested $129 for an estimate, they have you hooked. I believe they take advantage of their customers. read more

Arrived early and finished the job quickly. Justin was professional and took a few minutes to look over some other plumbing issues I have. Future repairs. Not Justin's fault but the sales pitch to join a club for $15 a month was not received well. Doesn't make sense to pay all year when I may not need the services again. read more

I called RA Biel out for a boiler problem, they did nothing but complain about my system and did not fix the problem and charged me $150 for the privilege. So I called Davis, they guy came out, charged $100 to tell me he didn't know what the problem was. I called M&R, they put me through to Chad. He listened to my problem and in 30 seconds, had the answer ON THE PHONE WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE SYSTEM!!! I replaced the bad part and my boiler is working like a champ! Thanks Chad, Thanks M&R!
