Unfortunately I have to give them at least 1 star. Quoted me an approximate travel price to job site of between $45-$50, billed me for 10+ times that price for plumber to travel to site. Used them 10 months prior to that and they charged me $ 50 travel time. My suggestion, STAY AWAY! read more

Horrible customer service. Not sure what kind of business they are running here, but look elsewhere. Not only did they have an employee snooping through my brother in laws bedroom and get caught on camera, a lady from the office yelled at me on the phone and out right called me a liar when I tried explaining that their employee did not perform any work. They over charge their customers and then treat you horribly afterwards. Beware, Farmington Metal and Heating and Fosters Plumbing are one and the same. read more

Non responsive, charge for duplicate work. Came out over and over again to fix the same thing and charges me each time. On the final visit I stayed home to babysit them and they actually solved the problem. read more

Do yourself a favor an call someone else. Contracted these guys to install and plumb a bathtub. Was advised to buy my own parts as they are known to sell you parts with an up charge. Not only did the damage to tub, the install was sloppy, they damaged my tile, the drain stopper didn't work properly, but the worst was the customer service. Every time I called to their office, didn't matter what for, the ladies that worked there acted like I was bothering them. read more

We have used Foster for routine plumbing before and always found them prompt and effective. This summer we had the plumbing disaster from hell, an underground leak that no one else could find. After another company recommended by the insurance agent spent two weeks and couldn't find it, we called Foster. They came out, found the leak, repaired everything, and didn't quit until it was perfect. Their prices were more than reasonable given the person hours they spent looking for and fixing the problem. I would use them again in a second. We are very grateful. read more

We made a claim with our home warranty company and were told to call Foster for service. I tried calling. I called starting on the 6th of this month, their phones were down at first and had to call the warranty place back, we waited about 4 days for them to tell us that Foster will be the provider we are supposed to work with. I called and was told they didn't have our info. I then called the warranty company back and was put on hold while the man I spoke to sent them another request for service. It was late in the day so I waited to call Foster back until the next day. When I called them again they still claimed to not have our information. I called every couple days to follow up and last week got told, basically, don't call us, we'll call you. No one called us and it had been a week. It's now the 27th and today we got told that they don't deal with our home warranty company. We called HMS and the lady my husband spoke to called Foster and was told the person that they needed to talk to was in a meeting about their contract with HMS. It would have been nice to know they refused to do anything several weeks ago. Three weeks of dealing with temperatures in the 80s inside the house was outrageous. Not one person ever reached out to us as a courtesy or just to let us know we needed to find someone else to service our unit. You might want to find someone else to work on your AC if you need it. I have to say this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with customer service. read more

Beware! Do not use this company! The two girls that run the office, Tiffany and Theresa are horribly rude. First, they do not know how to answer a business phone. My moms heater went out again, Fosters had been there previously, and the man that fixed it, Johnny was really nice. My mom called to get him to come back out, because heater went out again. They told my mom nobody from their company had ever been there. They hung up on my mother. I called and spoke with Tiffany, and told her I didnt appreciate her attitude. She called my mom and apologized and said she had found a work order they had been there, and she would send someone out. Nobody ever showed. So, to the owners, Brian, and Al, I was told, if these two women are running your business, I would rethink how they handle customers. I will spread the word about Foster plumbing. Im sure they do great work if it was not for the front desk. Pretty bad when they hang up on an elderly person who has a cold house, and if you can't get through the girls at the front, your screwed! Also filed a complaint with BBB. read more

I contracted this company, with 24 hours of notice, to come and snake a drain. I waited for three hours, but they were a no call, no show. I will not be using a company that doesn't even have the common courtesy to call to inform their customers that they will not be arriving that day. read more

I had a pipe leak fixed by Foster plumbing. The technician called me the morning of the appointment to set an exact time, showed up exactly on time and did an efficient professional repair job. Would definitely use them again. read more

I called on a Sunday morning because the pipe from our hot water heater was leaking. I left a message with the answering service, and their on-call plumber called me within an hour, and came by in a couple of hours. He inspected the damage, went for parts, and had the whole thing fixed quickly, and the price was reasonable. Plumbing is never cheap, but it was definitely worth it. The plumber was also very courteous, and let me know what he was replacing, and what price to expect. read more
