I've bought a rug from here. Price was nice and the rug after more than 2 months of usage is still OK.

Their specialty is, of course, cleaning supplies, so if you're looking for anything that has to do with spring-cleaning, getting rid of carpet stains or finding the perfect broom...this is the place that you come check out! Forget that cheap crap that they offer at Sainsbury's; this is where you get the right stuff and the excellent advise at the same time. In fact, the shop owner is very knowledgeable and can help you with all of your cleaning-related queries. Here you also find the real-hair brooms that make sweeping your kitchen floors an unforgettable experience...

Boma Garden Centre
I need to update my review because the Boma Garden centre gardeners are such, such stars!!…read more We have been keen to tidy up our garden by adding some decking and building some raised flower beds etc... but although I was keen to give it a go and attempt everything myself, my husband was sure it'd be much easier *and...ahem...look much better* if we asked professionals to help. Our builder let us down (as he is so busy with other jobs) so I asked the Boma Garden Centre folks to quote for the work. In the end they managed to transform our messy, mad garden in just 2.5 days. They were polite, helpful, left everything tidy and were just a pleasure to work with. I am really glad that we decided to go with them. So, if you need help with a garden makeover and you live in North London, give them a try!!

The Camden Garden Centre really has it all: friendly & knowledgeable staff who are willing to…read moreengage in a little chat with you and point you to the flowers that suit your garden's particular needs. For example, our garden is deprived from sunshine for most of the day (aka shade) but we nevertheless want to have a garden that exists more than off shrubs and other boring greenery... Aside from the nice staff, their selection is also quite extensive - especially given that the store is very close to the city centre and doesn't have the opportunity to expand like other suburban garden-centre monsters.
Oooh yay for mums!…read more My mother came to visit my kitten in our new(ish) flat and was truly unimpressed by the state of our little garden. I should probably mention that we had to dump our old kitchen in the garden for two months before we could persuade someone to drive us to the dump...so this has left a muddy, slimy mess. Oops. However, my mum took one look at it, and marched me off to the Camden garden centre to see if we could find some tools and plants. I am glad we did! This place has: * A huge selection of plant pots and statues (I wasn't into them...but maybe other yelpers are?) * Plenty of plants in pots, ready to re-locate into your garden...We bought as many herbs as we could carry!! * Seeeeds! All the seeds you could think of (or bulbs) with seed trays etc. * Spades, forks, gloves etc. * Houseplants * Friendly, helpful staff This is all very helpful...but I would not have fixed my garden without mum's help (plus she paid for some of it, saying it was a moving in prezzy!) So I recommend visiting here with a parent in tow. Thanks mum!!

This store has lots of character and feels like a place where staff feel really passionate about their business. You'll find a huge selection of indoor and outdoor plants here. I received a lot of helpful tips from the staff regarding care for my orchids. They pointed the stuff I was doing wrong and gave me tips how to care properly for my plants. Apart from the plants, you'll find hundreds of related items on offer, such as plant feed, planting and decorative pots, water features, garden furniture, outdoor heating, lawnmowers, even garden jacuzzis. I also like browsing through a huge selection of home accessories, stuff like cushions, rugs, lamps, small pieces of furniture, kitchen accessories, glassware, candles, etc. At the front of the shop you'll find lovely gourmet food items, packaged in decorative tins and jars. You could find a lot of gifts ideas here. It is all upmarket stuff, slightly pricey, but worth the money, considering the quality. The staff will help you with all the heavy and bulky items to your car.

We spoke to the manager who advised us that they would do anything without a receipt. The plant was perfect and the pot had their barcode on the bottom, but they refused an exchange.
