I'm still not too enamoured with the sight of bloody pork, but I make an exception for here. The selection in here is pretty wide. It's a butchers, so obviously the main line is meat;mince steak, chicken and veal, but they also do a mean steak pie and really fab ready made stir frys and kebabs with peppers. There is a petrol station again like all morrisons has good and competative prices. This store has a dry cleaning service, pharmacy, instore bakers which always smells good as you pass. The other facilities include the instore butcher and cafe. The products are standard from their own basic range to their middle priced range and to the well known brands. They have weekly special offers on and these are usually very easy to find at the end of the aisles. The staff are friendly and helpful although there can be queues at the weekend. I do find the car park to be tight in places though so take your time.

The staff have an extensive knowledge of the products they sell, and are happy to help out. I am no expert when it comes to wine but they were really helpful, telling me the breakdown of the grapes and what that means, as well as which wine complements certain foods. The beer selection is good as well; they have a few standard lagers but pride themselves on their ales and more unusual beers. My particular favourites are their Brewdog selection, including the amusingly named Tactical Nuclear Penguin, a 32% beer. The prices are reasonable, obviously depending on the quality of the wines, but are competitive with other wine merchants. Owing to the sheer knowledge and experience of the staff I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to replenish their stocks, whether for a quiet night in with a film or to be served in a dinner party.

They also have 2 aisles of household goods or clothing, which are on special offer and heavily discounted - you can often find anything from a tv or microwave, to slippers and garden shears here! This shop can be a bit untidy and the staff need a lesson or two in smiling and being customer friendly, but the store is well run and very, very busy. Importantly for anyone shopping here, it has a seperate entrance besides via the shopping centre, which allows Lidl's to stay open beyond the shopping centre times.
