It is a circle of nothing. I have emailed the woman who got my loan approved I have called near every number and I do not get any answer or return or the call simply drops. I have tried many different ways to get back in. I am met with an email over and over that takes me back to the log in which I can't. I do not want to ruin my credit over an issue that should not be this hard to figure out. It just seems predatory and creepy. I was given a 11% interest for a personal loan. One star review type of credit report companies like Experian and Transunion did not help my credit score even though I have paid my bills on time for more than 40 years. I was quite happy when I was just cash based. The problem entered when I tried to sell my main property to relocate out of NY. Community Bank would not let me use my property (has no mortgage) as collateral if I moved out of NY to purchase another place in the south, as I want to downsize and move south for my health and well-being. I need more sunshine and want to move near an ocean beach area. I am 60 years old, mixed race female. Basically, Community Bank provides minimal services, and I feel my retirement is being ruined by scams for years, and now predatory lending.

They talked me into opening a checking account with the HELOC. First payment I make from the account, they without contacting me, assumed it was fraud (payment to another major bank) and lock both my check and HELOC. Took a week and 5 phone calls to get it unlocked. In the mean time they bounce checks, caused payments to be late on other accounts costing me lots of fees. Citizens based told - to bad, we don't care.
