I have been with various banks in the 20 years Ive had my mortgage. I don't like it when they…read moresell your loan and you have no control over whom you are doing business with but for the most part, aside from the inconvenience, I have been ok with all of the previous banks before M&T. I don't care what I have to call about there is a negative attitude and if a response it given that I am unhappy with it is very, "take it or leave it". They also charged me 2 late fees on my mortgage when I was NOT late and when I called to complain told me to write a letter. When I asked why I was being inconvenienced to write a letter for their mistake then she came back and did what she should have offered to do in t he first place and took the information and put in a request to have the issue traced and the fees removed. I am diligently trying to refinance this to get away from them but at this point I owe such a small amount that no one wants to give me a loan. I say, given a choice go with anyone else over them.

The next morning we speak to a rep and she told us they could issue a new card but it would be 7 business days, and that we could go to any branch and get one issued immediately. We go to 2 different branches and both of them inform us that they only have 2 staff members working and we're uncertain if they could assist my wife.. With the limited hours that banks already operate this was EXTREMELY frustrating because my wife had been without a card all week and we still hadn't received anything in the mail. It's impossible calling customer service for help because they also have limited hours throughout the week. Very disappointed in our experience. One of those tellers has to wait on the drive-through so even though you think you're next in line, you never really are. The Last 3 that I got money out of the ATM and I wanted to go inside to exchange them for higher I've waited in line for 20 minutes just to change 20s into hundreds dollar bills. Then I asked for a print out of the completed credit card application BEFORE he submitted it? He agreed. He stated his office doesn't have a printer but he would walk over to another office and get the print out, before he submitted it. During the process I asked to cancel the credit card application. He stated he would cancel it. The next day, I found out the MT BANK credit card application was submitted....... by my credit monitoring service. Mt bank credit card application sent a hard hit to Experian to my credit score. I asked MT Bank to withdraw the credit card application from experian that I never saw or signed. They said, NO. I reported mt bank to an outside company. I believe MT BANK then put fictitious .97 cent charges on my two checking accounts that I have had for more than 20 years. I believe MT BANK was sending fake 410100009 spam text messages to my phone about my account was closed. So I had to close these two checking accounts due to spam texting and .97 cents being added to my account. The mgr stated that hackers trying to steal money by adding .97 cents to checking accounts. I had to reopen two other checking accounts at mt bank.. The two knew checking accounts were set up with the wrong addresses. AFTER I completely stopped doing business with mt bank and closed the two knew checking accounts......... the fake spam text messages stopped to my phone.
