I needed a mailbox installed and had tried for 3 months to schedule various handyman recommended by neighbors. I finally took things into my own hands and searched for a reputable and highly rated handyman on Yelp. There were several options to choose from, but I was immediately drawn to Brian's business because it is locally owned and operated by him. Plus, I really liked his bio. I could tell he was someone who enjoyed his work and was focused on high quality outcomes for customer projects. Brian did not disappoint. Every step of the process was a good one. My first point of contact was through Yelp messaging. That's when I first knew I was on the right track because Brian promptly replied. Moreover, his communication skills were excellent from the get-go. He was able to fit me into his schedule a few days after my request. He arrived on time prepared with what he needed to do the job. Everything went smoothly, especially because Brian and I had reviewed the installation instructions through photos I attached to our Yelp messages. He was able to acquire the remaining needed materials that I did not have on hand. Brian clearly knew what he was doing and got the mailbox installed without any problems. He charged a reasonable amount and was a pleasure to work with. I had a great customer experience. I already have other projects lined up for him. Living in a 200-year-old home is going to provide plenty of opportunities to call on Brian's experience and excellent problem-solving skills.

The job ultimately took the entire day, from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Toward the end, David mentioned that his vacuum was already packed away and declined to retrieve it, which left certain areas less thorough than expected. While the overall result was acceptable, the work would likely have been completed more efficiently and with greater attention to detail if additional help had been provided. The pricing was reasonable and on the lower end compared to competitors. That said, I would have preferred paying a bit more for a team-based approach that could have completed the job in fewer hours with a higher level of efficiency. Additionally, I noticed that David posted a review on Yelp stating I was satisfied, which I found misleading. When I discussed this with David he said you signed an agreement to allow me to take photos and give reviews when you signed your initial contract. I found this a little shady. Reviews should be written by the customers themselves, not the service provider. Overall, I would rate the service as average, around 3 to 4 stars.

I had several rooms including one with 18 foot ceiling done, and they moved through very efficiently. Their attention to detail on wall prep made the final product look spectacular - clean and smooth. The crew cleaned up daily and was very accommodating with any requests. The supervision was there daily to see how things were going. This was clearly a company that was interested in customer satisfaction, not just a paycheck.

I've paid a bunch of painters and I've done plenty of painting myself. These guys are the best…read more Fast, professional, and fair. They painted ALL the interior trim in our house. Very thorough...they took apart the windows and removed/cleaned the hardware. At the end of each day, we could barely tell they had been here because of how well they cleaned up after themselves (comparing that to the mess other contractors have been leaving). Excellent work quality. We got a good deal because they're slow in the winter, so I can't compare rates. But they spent a LOT of time here for the money we paid. They move fast, so even if their rates are higher, you'll get high-quality work faster than you'll get from more fly-by-night painters.
