I loved the flower shop and promised myself I would return... took months due to covid but glad I came by. It's more than just a flower shop, although they do sell flowers and make arrangements. But, while in there I found a number of little pieces of home decor that I brought home... two pieces because it had a spiritual significance to me. During the early morning hours of the day I went to the flower shop, I got up from bed because I was thirsty. It was still dark out and I walked from my bedroom towards the kitchen. Several of my plants and trees in my backyard are lighted and I saw this beautiful cardinal perched on one of the trees. I am from Florida so I had never seen a Cardinal before. Beautiful bird. Later that morning, I was telling my mother about it and all of a sudden the cardinal flew into one of the windows. It was ok and flew away but certainly it was startling. I then went to this flower shop and I noticed a little statuette of an angel holding a cardinal and it said: When a cardinal appears in your yard, it is a visitor from heaven. I was shocked. Next to it was another angel statuette of an angel holding a butterfly and it said Butterflies are the heaven sent kisses of an angel. When I was young, my little sister died. It hurt a lot and I remember I was told... perhaps as a way to comfort me that if I ever saw a butterfly... it was my sister visiting me. Ever since then, I have had a connection to them and they always catch my sight. I may have grown up, and I may understand that butterflies are just an insect... a beautiful one but an insect. Nevertheless, I still carry that idea/fantasy close to my heart. Seeing those two together, made me want to buy them. Maybe I am deluding myself, but I felt the need to buy them. The store has lots of other decor for gardens and such... including beautiful wind chimes which I also purchased. I love wind chimes! Beautiful store, can't say anything about the flowers because I haven't bought any, but this store is definitely worth a look!

And they don't have lots of inventory to look over. But enough to get the idea of what you want. The store is small and broken up into a front showroom, main showroom and back area. There isn't much flashy about CA. Things are clean and mostly organized. The offices are in the middle section. On this occasion I had to search out someone to help me. The folks here were very friendly and helpful. No pressure. Good at presenting options and data. I had to wait in the office as we completed the paperwork and transactions. The office is not geared for the customer to sit down, relax and comfortably complete the transaction. I ended up buying a refrigerator. I feel like I got a good deal. We will see how the delivery goes.

I cannot commend this place for how patient and helpful the associates were that we worked with. Super friendly, extremely helpful and they made it a lot easier to part with what felt like my first born son to purchase the appliances that my wife "could not live without". I would do business with them again and would definitely give them a shot over the "big box stores" any day of the week.

I thought it looked like an interesting flower shop but didn't think much more on that as I went in to eat. Months later and I received two gifts from that store from different people. First at the end of December 2021, my boss sent my family and I a beautiful sympathy flower arrangement from Secret Garden. The flowers were beautiful and I was sincerely touched that he sent flowers due to my mom's cancer. Then on my birthday, on Jan 10 2022, my friend Sondra S. also had a different gift sent to me which consisted of snacks and chocolate. I have been slowly consuming it and can say it was really yummy! As Audrey Hepburn once said, ""To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." Every time I move somewhere, I plant... I plant a tree... I plant flowers. It's my way to show hope that one day I will find a place I can really call home... find a place I can plant my own roots into. Anyway, I digress... Laurie's has an extensive selection of items... it has plants and tree for sale... as well as outdoor decor like wind chimes, planters, outdoor thermometers, etc. It also sells other sundry items for sale including candles, barbecue sauces, margarita mixes and other items made naturally. Pretty cool! Unfortunately, it seems due to covid everyone else also had the idea of fixing up their garden so I was told their usual extensive selection had been greatly decreased. They were helpful enough to order some red planters that I wanted for my backyard and garden. I would have to unfortunately find plants somewhere else because they didn't have many left unsold but I certainly appreciated their help. The planters were beautiful! I will definitely come back from time to time as It will be well into next year until I get my backyard the way I want it. Wonderful place! Also, I love their cat they have on premises... such a sweet and friendly cat! The place also has a goat which I think is fun.

The first time was two years ago when I first moved to the area, The Corner Treasures was one of my first stops at the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. I promised myself I would returned but then covid happened and so much else got in the way. I walked around and there was obviously a lot less things for sale then when I first came in here two years before. Owners were definitely nice people. Really wish I would have made time to check it out before they went out of business.
