Delivery was made after I told them a Saturday delivery would be good but was notified the day before and unfortunately was not going to be home. Called a told them the same but was told that I was locked in for delivery and it would have to wait till Monday to re-schedule. Now it's October 10th as I was put at the end of the line. I have been sleeping on a recliner since the bed is too hard. Think twice before you buy from them.

When we brought it up, we were told the price had changed months ago, even though the ad was recent. The supervisor refused to adjust it, and when my husband asked if they didn't care whether we purchased, they said yes -- which felt dismissive. The staff were rude, uncompassionate, and showed no care. The supervisor name which sounds like (sh*t), I don't know how he spells it. My sister had a similar experience at another location. She was told she couldn't afford a bedroom set and that she might be better off financing it. She refused to finance or charge it and paid with cash. This behavior felt discriminatory and unacceptable. We would have bought the sofa anyway, but we refused to deal with this level of service. In contrast, we had a wonderful experience at Raymour & Flanigan in Middle Village with Aggie. She was professional, attentive, and made the purchase process smooth and pleasant.

On November 19th, the day before delivery, and Raymour and Flanigan called to confirm the delivery window 8-11am. My husband took off of work to be there for the delivery and disposed of our couch. We received another call from the store at 1:30PM the same day to let us know that they only had 2 pieces of the couch available and that they would prefer not to send the couch in two separate deliveries, so they would not be delivering our couch until next Tuesday, November 25th. When I called the store manager, Matthew, he told us they would do us "a favor" by taking off $224 delivery fee to deliver the couch next Tuesday. I am not sure how this is a "favor" to us after the major inconvenience they have caused, especially after only letting us know about the situation the afternoon prior to delivery (after already having confirmed that the couch would be delivered on the 20th earlier that morning). Now my husband is missing an entire day of work and we are going to without a couch for almost a full week. Matthew, said we would call me back within an hour. That was 3 hours ago. Unacceptable. Stay far away.

Brian asked if I needed help and went above and beyond to assist me. He walked with me to the blinds section, helped me pick out a lock, and then guided me to the lighting department. He was knowledgeable in every area and able to answer all of my questions. It used to be that employees only worked within a single department, so it was refreshing to receive such comprehensive assistance. The shovel was never shipped by my credit card was charged. I have contacted both HD and Citibank to dispute the charge. Citibbank said I do not have to pay until the get a response from HD. HD's customer service says I have to physically go to the store to try to get a refund to an online purchase that was never delivered. There is no merchandise to inspect, no restocking fee, HD cancelled the order. Simply reverse the charges. Absolute terrible customer service -online, Chat and FaceBook.
