Really appalling what they are doing to a disabled woman. They left her appliances outside when she was not physically able to answer a door. They came outside of when her aid is present to open the door. Made 4 attempts to redeliver with them continuing to come first thing in the morning when she has no aid available. I have had a horrible experience with their service department. My LG refrigerator broke down about a month ago. I couldn't get a repairman for about 8 days. When their repairman arrived he told me they had to order parts. About a week or so after that, another repairman came with the parts and apologized. It seems the last guy put the order in wrong. I was told the parts were on hold for me and that they would expedite the repair and send someone within 2 days. More lies! The new parts came in finally, but the next appointment was about 8 days away. I am still waiting! I have been without a refrigerator for about a month now! Totally unacceptable! I had purchased a $1900 NEO QLED. After only 17 months there appears to be what looks like a burn in. We called the sales person we dealt with and explained the situation. He said he would see what he could do and call us back but we never received a call back. My Wife had called him back only to be told there was nothing they could do. There should not be any issues on a TV that's 17 months old. It's possible it was a bad production batch. PC Richard's should take that into consideration and do what's right by the customer. Currently without a working fridge for going on 3 weeks, with a Samsung fridge with KNOWN defects. PC Richards should stand behind the products they sell instead of trying to Bandaid fix the issues. I have the extended warranty for these very reasons...to guarantee me a working appliance. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food and spent hundreds of dollars buying ice to keep beverages cool in the cooler. I was supposed to get a call back as I elevated my issue and did not get one. I have a spouse with recent surgery that leaves him immobile to reach the yard/cooler and kids home with all summer snacks thawed and ruined. PC Richards suggested I go buy a mini fridge, pay for it, and then return it once the Fridge is fixed. So putting the onus on me instead of them to rectify the issue with some sort of expediency. I waited 1 week for the earliest appt (15min visit because the tech already knew the issue) , 1 week for parts to be ordered, then another week for the next earliest appt AGAIN! DONT buy Samsung refrigerators and buyer beware with the extended warranty as it does not guarantee you a new item or even quicker service, even on a Known defective product! read more

This store has been here for a long time but it was my first time actually stopping in the store. There's a tiny parking lot in the back that they share with another business. Otherwise metered parking all around. I was in here looking for a window A/C unit so I kind had an idea of what I wanted already. I was only the store for a minute before a sales guy came up and asked if I needed help. Freddy was super helpful and patient as he looked for a few options for me as far as BTU's and brands. He went thru some pros and cons of each choice. Once I picked out what I wanted, he had sure it was taken out to my vehicle and loaded. I didn't realize but they were having an employee pricing sale so I got a big discount on the A/C unit. Freddy also made sure I had the accessories like a window bracket and filters. I'm not one to write a negative review, but I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in 2018 with a 5 year warranty for an additional $130.00. The fridge began leaking as soon as we got it. I called twice to have it fix and each time the repairman said there was nothing wrong. This Friday it stopped working. President's day, old tv died, needed to purchase a replacement TV and I knew which I wanted. After searching several stores, the PC Richard in Ozone Park had the brand and size I wanted. Spoke to Jacob on the phone who held onto the tv until I arrived. Jacob tested the tv onsite to make sure it worked, packaged everything back up, helped me pick out a soundbar, rang me up and got me assistance moving the boxes to the car. I was totally surprised when I received a follow up call from Jacob to make sure everything was working correctly. I'm sure it's probably because they make commission so that's why they're always asking you if you need help but within 10 minutes I had 5 people ask if I needed help and it made me almost uncomfortable! They need a system to keep track of who ask which customers if they need assistance because I wasn't even comfortable to shop. Worst company and customer service ever. I purchased a stove $800 and a smart tv $700 on 2/24/19 and exactly 1 year and 1 day later 2/25/20 the stove was making a beeping noise and the clock will turn off and on. I called to see what they could do to support me and the service I got was not the same as when I made the purchase. They were rude and policy oriented. I only needed guidance and support since I was having this issue. Then I call customer service and it was worse. No respect or sympathy for their customers. I can obviously Google the Frigidaire phone number it's just the way they treated a loyal customer for over 15 years. No Distric or Regional Manager support and service I received. I will definitely cancel my credit card with them and never again give them my money. I did contacted Frigidaire and as a customer service and gratitude they will service the stove at no charge since they understand it only a day over not a year over. So after a few headaches elsewhere I ended up here to try my luck. Let's me just say that FRANK the salesperson here is amazing!!! He helped us out in every kind of way, & when we told him we were out of a fridge for a few days now he made it his business to make sure we received the earliest and fastest delivery possible! & he sure keep his word! Bought an Avanti Freezer from them a year ago. The freezer died. Called them for help and customer service did not provide any helpful information. We will not be shopping here again. Rather do our own research and go to Home Depot or Lowes. At least we know what to expect. The person I spoke with on the phone was rushing me off the phone and told me I should have purchased the extended warranty... I guess they knew the product was bad. Should a freezer only last a year. We didn't even have it plugged in for the first three months. Ozone Park NY PC Richards have the worse customer service just because I visit the location and wasnt purchasing anything! Ive been in the retail industry for YEARS and understand the line of business with sales, commissions and how returns may have a negative impact on performance for a retail establishment. I purchased a pair of airpods from the the 23rd st location in NY and received the best service and was explained the return policy by my sale associate which is 30 days with receipt and item sealed. I told my sale associate it was a gift and if anything I might need to return it and was told I can visit any location meeting the terms and conditions to process my return. Today Feb 20th at 7PM due to Convenience I visit my local PC Richards at Ozone Park and was greeted by a group of associates at the door and spoke to one associate out of the bunch (wasnt able to get a name, it was a older gentleman with a white collar shirt- in which you may distinguish when cameras are run) and I asked to process my return. Stated by the associate: According to this location with APPLE airpods and any APPLE product there is a "new system" in which only a district manager can process and approve the return, his district manager isnt avaliable to contact after 7 PM and it has to be done at the location I originally purchased the item in order to receive a refund. I called the original location where I made my purchase and they verified they havent heard no such thing. Clearly this location and the associate only want to provide services that are sale related and for their benefit. Leaving a bad impression and experience on the brand, the location and Discouraging loyal customers who have history of purchasing thousands of dollars through out years to return to this location and bring business to this brand. Are associates making up return policies for their benefit, misleading customers!?! I hope to hear back from higher management. read more

This location shares a parking lot with Mandees. They also have someone hiding out in the lot, who has your cars towed if they think you're using their parking lot and not shopping at their store. I made a purchase at PC Richards, walked out as I waited for my partner to meet me so we can decide on a purchase together and as I waited in the area, my car was gone. I always shop at this PC Richards but I'm really disappointed because they conveniently called the tow truck company who brought my car back and charged me $136 and change. ITS A SCAM. read more

I've always hated this particular PC Richards.. The commission based atmosphere is horrible. Four years ago I go in there and ask about an appliance. The salesperson shows it to me along with the price and all I say is, "Okay, that's the ticket price. I want to buy it. What can you do for me?" ..he grumbles, sways his hands in the air like he swatting me away like a fly, walks away and disappears.. I hear from everybody that they haggle at PC Richards... guess not... I leave and don't come back for four years... Now this week.. I need two AC's badly... I begrudgingly go in... Young guy comes up to me right away...There's nothing like asking a question about an air conditioner to the young kid salesperson and he's obviously looking/listening over your shoulder at other customers to see if he has better options then you. The crazy thing is I wanted two large sized air conditioners and he couldn't nurture my sale because he was looking for other people by my second question. I squeezed a couple more answers outta him and said I'd be back. When I came back I could only get one AC (due to size restraints) so I winded up using a nicer, older, retiree type salesperson that was more in tune with people during a sale. Guess who's head pops up like a meerkat from behind the washing machines? It's the young kid salesperson,.. and he now runs over to shadow the old guy to get his partial credit for the sale. He considers he's owed it. So he put four minutes in with me earlier and now he follows the older guy for ten minutes while the sale is being processes. Hilarious... Not to mention as others said. Absolute worst customer service ever. The coordination between the sales rep and tech and customer is awful. Tried several times to get in touch with the technician prior to service date (two weeks from initial call-in) in order to give give the simple error codes on the appliance's readout so they could come prepared with the proper parts. PC refused to give me the tech's number or relay the information. The information was given to them THE DAY of the appointment. I therefore lose two days of work since now since the tech will be unable to fix it today--EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TRYING TO ASSIST THEM WITH. I was in two days ago to ask about a product, the salesman was great and helped us narrow our choices down. We told him from the beginning we were there just to get information and get prices. I came here various times t buy small things like batteries or ink cartridges because it's conveniently located near my house but received little to no help. The cartridges are usually located behind the counter; waited a good 15-20 minutes for an employee who i asked help retrieving the cartridge to come back and get it for me. read more

RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE I came in to purchase a bundle offer with their holiday store hours extended until 11pm. I entered the store at about half hour before closing but the place was pretty much getting ready to close anyway. I approached one of the sales associates s there for help for help finding the bundle so I could checkout immediately. At first the sales associate had no idea where the item was and had trouble finding it until the manager found the item and then placed it at the cashier. Once at the cashier the sales associate very rudely asked me for all my personal info due to the fact that it was my first purchase at a PC Richard and son, he seemed as if he wanted to get out of work and get my transaction over with. We all know how that goes. He never at one point tried to be polite. He had to enter my address and name, things like that and he rushed me all the way tossing my item from side to side and rudely tapping on it while he worked on my info as if to tell me "I could have left early if it weren't for you." Anyway I sucked it up and I never at any point became disrespectful because I've provided customer service myself so I kept it together. Anyhow after the transaction was final the sales associate failed to explain to me that 2/3 of the items that were sold in the bundle I was interested with were not in stock, besides this he also refused to give me any of the items because he thought the offer was "way too good to be true" although I specifically explained to him it was in their website. He didn't even bother to verify this and continued to reply with "whatever is in the bundle comes in the box" however this wasn't so. Later another sales associate told him the bundle offer was indeed valid and he seemed really bothered that his own co-worker tried to give any help. At any point did he ever apologize for the misunderstanding or horrible customer service, in fact he sided with his facts and what he said was right and I was wrong the entire time. Which I never understood. Personally when I want a customer to leave the store, you give them what they want, as quickly as you can and they'll leave unaffected. But this guy failed to have simple logic of any sort. In the end the manager also became rowdy with me and also tried his very best to kick me out the store so they could close, which I also couldn't understand. I just kept asking to be given what was included in their bundle, even after I had accepted to come in another day and pick-up the rest of the items in the bundle they didn't have in stock. In the end I just simply asked for my money back, and that was it (kept my composure the entire time & also the box they gave me the bundle in was all beat up, I asked for a replacement but they said "that was their last one" right...) 30 minutes of struggle just because the manager of this store and the sales associate wanted to get the heck out of there. I honestly don't understand. The sales associate I dealt with who's name I can't remember anymore was of indian/guyanese/bangladesh background and the manager appeared of asian roots. Avoid these guys at all costs and possibly just this store! I'm not sure if every PC Richard and Son's has this kind of thing going on. read more
