Outstanding service. It is always stressful when going to the mechanic as a single older woman and I dread going to one every time. I have an old 2002 Honda Accord and it is still running well but needed to check why the maintenance light came on. Right away, Mike came with a scanner that looked like an iPad and a few moments later, it was reset and he told me that I was good and ready to go, just like that. And I wasn't charged at all!! While heading to Bryce Canyon, my battery died after pumping gas at the station around the corner from MD. I walked over and asked for help. He came right over, verified that my battery was dead, jumped me so I could get out of the gas station, and then replaced my battery and had me back on the road in 30 minutes. We made it out of the Sand Hills area after some very rough driving in deep sand and were hearing some very concerning vehicle noises in our 4wd. We were a long way from home and came to MD to see if they could diagnose the severity of the problem and whether it might be safe to continue our trip home. They worked to get us in quickly and, in a little over an hour, they had diagnosed the problem as broken sway bars. They said it needed eventual repair but could be driven using a bit of caution. Making this all the more impressive is that they insisted upon no payment for their prompt service! It's a huge understatement to say how impressed we were with the MD experience. Traveling from ID to AZ and noticed an oil leak in our diesel truck. Pulled into MD and Russell came right out and with 3 mins diagnosed the problem...steering fluid cap had burst off. Just got my car back and I can certainly say these guys are honest, which is the main concern with mechanics you don't personally know. My car had bottomed out on a rock and started making a horribly loud noise. My mind raced as to what it could be since the sound didn't happen in reverse, so I didn't think it was just a little bit of metal on metal scraping from a dent caused by the rock, but turns out that's exactly what it was. No major damage. These guys could have taken me for a ride and charged me a ton for unnecessary labor and parts and I sure wouldn't have known any better, but instead they banged out the dent and charged me $48.
