FIVE STARS…read more I hired Peter to do some extensive work on my Cabin in the Western Catskills (Near Walton NY) and from the our initial conversations it was crystal that this man was really smart, a problem solver, creative and really knowledgeable about all things contracting. He attentively listened to my vision for creating a cabin that fused simple minimalism with modern appeals and amenities. He asked many questions and then set out to execute that vision with elevation by elevation brainstorm sessions. Once I knew that we were on the same page with respect to the vision for the cabin then Peter brought in his crew to make it happen. They went through this place like a contracting tsunami, working diligently everyday to get the job done. The project began with prepping for the buildings power wash which meant removing many items from the building that the previous owner had installed like satellite dishes, decorative animals and planters. After that was done Peter did a beautiful job of power washing the exterior during a serious rainstorm. He was like a machine!!! I have never seen anything like it before. It was 58 degrees outside (chilly) and torrentially raining while he did the job which took all day but he did not stop until he was satisfied with the quality of his work. After it all, it is clear that he holds himself and the quality of his work to the highest standards possible. He also shared his ideas for various aspects and stages of the project development that made the original vision even better than originally planned. For example, we were looking to add a splash of color around that house and had settled on a red front door but with Peter's input we changed course and painted parts of the porch red instead. That pivot mades the front of the house look fantastic and modern like Louboutin Shoes!!! Peter is a mastermind and I could go on and on about how great of a job that he did on our cabin but I'll let the photos do all the talking. I would like to also say that Finish Line Contractors were extremely responsive to my calls, scheduling, and were incredibly reliable. They were also so trustworthy that we gave him access to the house even when we weren't onsite so that he could get the work done on time. In the end, I feel very fortunate to have Finish Line Contractors do my renovation. They made the final result better than the original vision. I plan to use them for another build in the spring because the initial experience was so great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, honest, hardworking visionary contractor that gets the job done right.

I hired them to remodel 3 bathrooms. The rough in work was good. However the finish work was not…read moregood. I realize I have an old house that is a little off of square. My expectation was that issues would be corrected during construction. So I have new floors that were not leveled, new walls that are angled, electrical work that is sloppy and paint on the walls that does not cover everything. The electrical work passes inspection but be prepared for upside down switches and outlet boxes that are not flush with the walls. They also did 4 side jobs while they were here (drywall and paint the kitchen, build a closet, build a laundry space and replace my well pump). The contract for additional work is per hour labor. I was charged outrageous amounts for additional labor. So if you hire them I would suggest you only allow them to work on the contracted job. In addition you will be charged for every supply they purchase from trash bags to plumbing pipes. The selling point is that they do it all with licensed plumbers, electricians and carpenters. They truly embody the phrase "Jack of all trades master of none". It is really a shame. The crew is nice. They work hard. But I can not imagine they ever leave a customer really satisfied.

They cleaned up very well making sure several times that not a single nail was left accounted for. When the demolition began, I was somewhat concerned with the mess that was going to take place. I was pleasantly surprised at how under control the contractors kept it. Every piece that was demolished was removed to their dump trailer and every evening they cleaned up after themselves and put things away. That was GREAT! Another concern of mine when the project began, was if they'd show up at a reasonable hour every day and get this project done quickly. Needless to say, every morning started at 8:30 am at the latest. So now let's talk about workmanship. All I can say is EXCELLENT!! Let's just say I'm a little anal when it comes to how I like things done. Not once did I feel like I couldn't ask them about something or have them make it the way I would like it. I was ALWAYS treated with respect and they never treated me like I didn't have a brain , like some have, because I'm a woman!
