We have been with Westbrook Montessori for 2 1/2 years, and it's been a wonderful experience for…read moreboth of our children. The school has a warm family feel, so our children adjusted very easily. The teachers are great, and work closely with the students to help them achieve their full potential. My daughter graduated from the Casa (senior kindergarten) program in June, reading at a grade 2 level and had been introduced to grade 3 mathematics concepts. In September, she entered into a grade one French immersion program. Because Westbrook also introduces the kids to French, it has been a very easy transition for her. She took with her the drive for learning, and has progressed to reading chapter books, and writing her own stories. My son, loves Westbrook and shows a very keen interest in school. At 3, he's already recognizing short words, and enjoys books and counting. His learning style is very different from his sister's, but the teachers work with him in a way that works for him. Because it's a family oriented school, the Principal there, is very open and fair with the students and parents. As a parent, there's nothing like sending your to school knowing that they are safe and happy. My husband and I have been extremely happy with Westbrook, and always recommend it to friends and family who are looking for a great school for their children.

The teachers at Oak Learners take the time to really get to know and understand their students. My daughter went from a struggling student whom felt so low about her abilities that she missed more school than she attended to a confident student who is so eager to attend school that she is disappointed when the school day end. Since starting at Oak Learners, my daughter is much more willing to take chances in learning (she went from to being a reluctant non-reader to an enthusiastic beginner reader who isn't shy any more to ask for help). The teachers are passionate about guiding students to learn and love the process of learning, their knowledge and experience are invaluable!

We always felt welcomed and loved at LAMS. Ms. Marisel was our son's teacher and she is a very special person for us. She made such an impact on our son's growth academically and socially. All the kids absolutely love French classes with Ms.Marylin and music classes with Ms.Vlada. Every year there 2 concerts performed by LAMS students that are absolutely adorable and unforgettable!!!
