I've been to a few gyms.. and while this one is certainly not great, it's not really bad either. As…read morethe previous review stated, I was also given the sales pitch as soon as I came in. They advertise that you can have 30 days free to try it out, but they don't offer this to you once you are in there. They want you to sign up immediately and will offer you some special deal. I told the woman I couldn't afford more than $25 a month, and she said that worked for her. I wish I would have said $15 or $20! I would definitely advise you to lowball it. They also conveniently didn't mention the annual charge for "maintenance fees", which was about $25 - $30... I'm sure it's in small print somewhere in the contract. Oh and it's a 3 year contract. I don't usually have a problem trying to get a treadmill or using the equipment. I think a lot of women that go here go to the classes, which is not really my thing. I do with they had more area to stretch and for free weights though. Also the swimming pool is not the kind you can do laps in. It's mostly for water aerobic classes. They do have a tanning bed and update the bulbs regularly, so that's a good thing. The place could definitely use some updates, but for the price it's ok. Oh there is a free babysitting service, but I don't have kids so there is not much I can say on that.

I have been a member of this gym for a little over a year. On the day I came in for information I…read morewas quickly pounced upon and given a tour. The facility seemed clean except the bathroom stalls and counters that were small and cramped. I was quickly told they are under construction to expand this area. (let me add there has never been any construction since I have been there). And I can admit the sales pitch from Marcie felt like maybe she had a history as a used car salesman. I did sign up for membership because I like the idea of a female gym and I didn't fell like going through this sales pitch at more gyms. I can tell you that my time at the gym hasn't been negative. I would advise that if you want to come to this gym to come at off times, because it isn't very large. The other problem is, there is no machine wipe down policy. Every time I go I get sick watching other women spend 10 minutes on a machine, leave it covered with sweat and not wipe it down. I also have never seen any staff ever clean any of the equipment themselves. I personally carry around a bottle of the gyms sanitizer and paper towels and handle it myself. Wiping off the machine before and after I use it. However they often run out of paper towels and sanitizer. I have never attended the classes or used the pool/sauna areas or daycare so I cannot advise you on that. However I can tell you the machines are poorly maintained. With some machine still broken even after 2+ months. One thing that is a bit alarming to me is the name change on this business on Google. When I first debated joining this gym I googled it and found it listed as "Premier Ladies Fitness". There were many negative reviews, personally naming employees at the gym. And now I return to find the business listed differently with only positive reviews going back only 3 months. With some of the reviews actually being duplicated posted under different user names. And with many of the user only reviewing the same business' as each other. Which makes me wonder if they are dummy account set up just for positive reviews. I am sure that some of these reviews here are legitimate but I know for a fact some are not. So please do you own research before you sign your money away.

There are a lot of fitness professionals/personal trainers out there, many are good, some are even…read moregreat, but there are none like Jason. True to his words, Jason offers customized fitness training that will get you to where you want to go. Whether it's to lose weight, be more fit, or become a competitive athlete. Jason's workouts are customized and tailored. He is an attentive and thorough trainer. I worked with Jason for over two years, and I never had one session in which I felt he was on "auto pilot". He was as attentive to my form and performance on my last workout with him as he was on my first. I started training with Jason, because I wanted to lose weight (as many do when they sign up with a trainer). In our initial consultations and workouts Jason asked and listen carefully to what I wanted and how I worked. He devised a workout program for me that focused on helping me get stronger and more fit. In short, Jason taught a grown adult (who had never exercised) how to exercise and incorporate it into part of everyday life. Jason gave me the tools I needed to appreciate fitness and enjoy it as part of a healthy and active lifestyle. Oh, and yes, I lost a bunch of weight in the process, but the weight loss pales in comparison to what I gained. If you are looking for a personal trainer, you need to look no further than Jason H. He is the best out there, and you will not find a better personal/trainer out there to help you reach your fitness goals.
