Although I'm a business owner now, I'm still a consumer too. I remember needing to call a company to fix the washer machine. The bill I got didn't match the satisfaction of the completion of the job. It happens and unfortunately - in my opinion - occurs frequently. As many Americans experience, too often do we pay more than what the final product was worth. That being said, the good companies are out there. I know, because I have worked for some great people. I didn’t come from money or a business background - I came from labor. I started in a Butcher's Shop the week of my 13th birthday. Over the years I worked in manufacturing, as a stone mason, driving 18 wheelers, arboriculture and tree climber, remote logging operations off the coast of Alaska, in local municipalities, mechanic, heavy equipment operator, I could go on. I’ve always believed that if you do the job right, encourage others to do their best, muster through the tough days, and treat people with respect, you’ll build something worth standing behind. I started stump grinding part-time while working a full-time job. Hustling on weekends, evenings, and early mornings before my full-time job, whatever it took. All while attempting to balance home life and the desire to create a better life through hard work and consistency.

As I am still a consumer too, it feels good when I pay someone out of my pocket and they do a great job. I couldn't ask for more. Over time, I began to reinvest everything I earned - buying a commercial stump grinder, then a dump truck, then machines, and so on. One piece at a time, I built this thing up. I wasn’t trying to grow fast; I was trying to grow right. No shortcuts. No nonsense. My reputation spread the old-fashioned way: by word of mouth from happy clients. I’ve always taken pride in showing up clean, prepared, and ready to do the job. Every job mattered to me, and it still does. Whether it’s pulling a single stump in someone’s backyard or prepping a full site for a new home, I show up with respect - for your property, your time, and your trust.
