Just as many people, I have never enjoyed the experience going to the dentist. Getting your gums and teeth poked at has never been a very pleasant experience; hence, I always avoided it, until I began seeing Dr. Khan. So first thing first, let me explain my reasoning why I am a huge of this place and why it has changed my view on going to the dentist. 1) Dr. Khan's professionalism and manner. Just as it sounds, but beyond the fact of Dr. Khan being very knowledgeable in his expertise, he has an excellent bedside manner how he talks to his patients and makes them feel comfortable. Many healthcare professionals don't take those little steps, and to be quite frank, many honestly do not care to, but Dr. Khan is different. It's those little things that shows that he does care about his work and making the patient feel comfortable an at ease. 2) The Hygienists and Dr. Khan's staff. Everyone is top-notch, friendly, and probably one of the few places that I have encountered where they actually know who you are when you call them. To me, that matters because that shows that they make the effort to get to know you and it makes the experience that more pleasant. 3) Lastly, the dental work. What can I say, I always felt getting cavities filled and getting your teeth looked at was annoying and painful. But for some reason, that is not the case when Dr. Khan is working on your teeth. He is gentle, he is patient and you can tell that he isn't just trying to rush through all his patients and get the work done. I think it is that patience and his high level of skill and experience that makes the experience a lot better than what I have experienced previously with other dentists. They work with you on scheduling and etc also and have evening hours as well which really helps. Overall, great dentist, great staff and an overall excellent experience. Highly recommend. read more

I cannot express my gratitude in words on how wonderful my experience was with Dr. Khan and his staff! I had two baby incisors (on either side of my front teeth) and was getting married in about year. I decided to have teeth implants put in their place as the baby teeth were barely hanging in there (could you imagine if I got hit in the face on my wedding day and they fell out?). I did some online research and met with Dr. Khan and his team that night for a consultation. Dr. Khan took some x-rays, looked at my teeth and laid out what the plan would be. Everything (including the cost) was extremely straightforward and they were able to meet the timeline of my wedding. Over the next year, I had a bone graft above the baby teeth, the rods installed for the implants and then the finally crowns put on. During all of my procedures, Dr. Khan made me feel calm and in good hands. I was never once nervous about the procedures. Dr. Khan went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the provided services. For a period of time, my baby teeth were bonded into my mouth until the implant rods had complete healed in my gums. I broke the bonding on one of the baby teeth. He came in on his day off to bond it back in for me. When it was time to put the final crowns in (fake teeth), Dr. Khan took the time to make sure they were perfect and looked good. He ended up sending one of the crowns back three times until it was exactly as he had envisioned. M. Shoaib Khan D.M.D. P.C. Loved it I have had several dentists over the course of my 70+ years, all of them about the same. When I found I needed an implant, I decided to look alittle harder to find not only a very skilled dentist but one who really had his patients needs as his priority. I realized that implants are not cheap and on the North Shore of Chicago there are a herd of dentists willing to take your Mercedes as payment. I discovered Dr. Kahn online, read all the reviews available and then decided to get a consultation with him. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed by Dr. Kahn and his complete office staff. Everyone there made you fell like you were the number one patient. Dr Khan and his staff are always friendly and the prices are really low for the service you receive but what really impressed me was the level of skill Dr khan has as an oral surgeon. I got 2 dental implants for my front teeth (Lateral incisors?) and bone grafting. I was really nervous about getting the procedure done since I was getting many surgeries done all at once and I know that dental implants have a lot of things that can go wrong. I had the procedure done about 4 months ago and I'm just writing a review now because I wanted to see how everything went. I'm happy to report that things went even better than expected. Dr. Khan successfully performed bone grafting, the placing of the implants and he even added temporary teeth in one visit. That's really hard to pull off when you think about how finicky the body is about accepting foreign objects and I'd imagine that adding temporary teeth immediately is a challenge since the bone needs very little movement to integrate properly. But Dr khan knew exactly what he was doing and placed everything perfectly so that it would be a success. The whole process has been painless and well worth it. So if you're nervous about getting an oral surgery done, ease your mind and pick Dr Khan and his awesome staff! read more

Before I found Dr. Khan, I had a fear of dentists. As a young child I had many cavities due to problems with my enamel, and many of these experiences were quite painful. As a result, I avoided going to the dentist as an adult and ended up with many issues that really needed attention. I first went to Dr. Khan in a state of dental emergency. I was very nervous and fearful about the pain, but he and his staff really put me at ease and assured me that the techniques he used would make the procedure almost completely painless. Ever since then, my fear has disappeared. I always know that I am in good hands when I go to Dr. Khan. He has saved several of my teeth through a root canal and replaced fillings. I have also had three wisdom teeth extracted painlessly. I am now back on track and getting things taken care of that I had put off for years due to my past bad experiences. I had alot of work done with Dr. Khan and he did a great job on all of it. His bedside manor is very kind, patient, and gentle. I had 2 implants done with a great result and also a 3 tooth bridge which turned out great as well. He gaurantees all his work and if for any reason you dont get the result you anticipated he will redo it for no additional charge until you are fully satisfied. Pricing is fair and his equipment and materials used are top notch. Paula and jen are very warm and friendly also, which are the girls youll deal with for appointments and finances, etc. Overall I would highly reccomend Dr. Khan to my closest friends and family. Also, I felt very little to no pain or discomfort during my surgeries and procedures, which is very imporntant to me when choosing a dentist. They take most insurances and where I fell short in my benefits and personal cash flow I was able to take advantage of the financing they offer through care credit. Dr. Khan installed a dental implant in my jaw a couple of months ago, and I am extremely happy with the work. The procedure was completely pain-free, and the healing process has been going very smoothly. Dr. Khan created a temporary crown to attach to the post while the implant mends with the jawbone, which looks very real, and has been non-intrusive in my daily routine. This has been a huge advantage, as many other practices use a dental flipper, which I expect would not preserve gum structure as well, look less natural, and become an annoyance since it sits within a retainer that must be worn, and has to be taken out to eat. In a month or so, I will get the final crown to replace the temporary I have been wearing, and with the high-quality of work done so far and attention to detail, I expect it will look just like a real tooth. Based on a friend's (dentist's) referral, took our 2 y/o daughter in to get a chipped tooth bonded. Dr. Khan's staff was very courteous and professional, offered us drinks, and took us right back for our appointment. The entire office is spotless. Dr. Khan knew exactly how to prepare my daughter for the procedure, how to get her to cooperate, and when to take a step back to make sure the experience was not a bad one. After doing an initial exam and x-ray, he realized she was getting a little too anxious to do any more, so he recommended we come back for the bond. The second visit, she knew what to expect, and Dr. Khan applied the bond without any trouble. Because everything would have normally been done in a single visit, Dr. Khan only charged us for one visit. My daughter now has no anxiety about going to the dentist and even has fun during her visits because of her experience with Dr. Khan. read more

Let me start by saying that Dr Khan should teach other doctors and dentists on how to treat their patient's. He always makes you feel you have his full attention and concern. He is very kind, gentle and has a calming manner. Something very important for a patient who hates dental work!! I started going to Dr. Khan for Invisilign treatment several years ago and was impressed with his patience and professionalism. The entire staff is very skilled and friendly and they work together like a well-oiled machine. I am comfortable in his office and feel like I get the best care possible. My regular cleanings and check-ups are comprehensive and thorough. He has a conservative approach and is not quick to recommend extensive dental work that may not be necessary. I have had some fillings replaced and a crown done and his approach is gentle and almost pain free. The implant process was painless, I am very happy with my new tooth! I have to say that it was less expensive than what some of the other dentists charge, but the quality and the experience was excellent! Clean modern office, newer equipment, professional staff. Dr. Khan makes it a point to explain the whole process to make sure you are comfortable and to address any questions or concerns. I was able to schedule my appointments after work, which was great.. Also, as i mentioned, the process of inserting the implant did not hurt at all and at least in my case, healing was very fast and trouble-free. So loosing a tooth at 37yrs old was kind of a wake up call. Thank goodness I found Dr. Khan's office. His office is impressive when you walk in but you soon realize that the real key here is the doctor. Within 10 minutes of arriving on time i was in the exam room with the doctor. He inquired about my issue, did the requisite tests and xrays and gave me options with very reasonable pricing tiers. I opted for the implant which was the best option. I have been going to Dr. Khan for over a year after moving into the area from the McHenry. His staff is very friendly and a pleasure to work with. He is a pratitioner of not pushing you into work that will need to be done at some time but is not an immediate need. I found this very refreshing after having a dentist that wanted to fix everything right now and I wound up paying a lot of money in a single year.
