While all conversations went well, the ceremony itself didn't go nearly as planned. He was never answering my wedding planner's phone calls weeks before the wedding. He forgot that my brother would be walking me down the aisle and instead he announced to all guests for my uncles to escort me and I embarrassingly had to tell my uncles no thank you (in front of all guests) that my brother will be taking lead (this was just seconds before I began walking down the aisle). He did not have our chairs facing each other when I got to the mandap (we were sitting next to each other instead which defeats the purpose of the cloth in front of the groom), he forgot to do our ring exchange even though he had a copy of our wedding program, and he answered a few calls during the wedding ceremony itself. He also kept asking during the ceremony what exactly he wants us to do. I believe he has conducted better ceremonies, but wanted to share my experience for future couples. I do not want this happening to anyone else.

Visitors should remove their shoes where required and respectfully follow the guidelines regarding silence and photography. The entire complex is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff and volunteers are courteous, welcoming and always available to answer questions about the Mandir, Hindu traditions or visitor etiquette. Shayona is also worth visiting before leaving. It offers vegetarian meals along with a huge collection of Indian sweets, dry snacks, namkeen and other packaged foods. The food is great quality, and the service is consistently friendly and efficient. A beautiful place to experience faith, Indian culture, extraordinary craftsmanship and community in Southern California.

Came here for the America 250 Years Celebration…read more Plenty of parking next to the temple. Had a great time here. The light show was fantastic! The music that accompanied the show was awesome. Very upbeat. It matched the light show perfectly! Had a blast watching the lights and music blended well together. It was a very fun experience. The temple feels like you suddenly stepped out CA and into another spiritual world.they have no shoe policy so don't forget to wear your socks...please remember that this is an active place of worship so dress carefully. Follow the temple rule and be mindful to people who pray there...This is one of those places that made me appreciate how many different cultures and hidden treasures we have around LA. The temple is founded by HSH Paramahansa Nithyananda, and he personally inaugurated the temple so the energy and space is very very healing and calming. The temple rituals are awesome, I recommend visiting on Saturday morning to watch Venketeshwara being bathed. The temple offers many programs including daily teachings and courses online. Free Yoga is available. Free very tasty food is available. Nithyanandas teachings about enlightenment are the extraordinarily powerful, and life changing.

Like many other temples, this Hindu Temple has multiple Garbagrahas for various Gods and Goddesses. Saturday mornings you can witness thirumanjanam for Lord Venkateswara and Lord Shiva accompanied by Vedic Chantings. In addition to paid Priests the Temple is also blessed with the service of well-trained professsionals helping in as priest-helpers. Sunday mornings you can watch special pujas for Lord Lakshmi Narayan. On both these days you may also enjoy lunch if you stay till 2 pm! Monday evenings one may watch Mrithynjaya Homa; list goes on for the rest of a week too.

The lady working at the reception desk consistently appears frustrated and unwelcoming whenever visitors enter. A temple is a place of peace where everyone should feel welcome. However, her attitude makes it feel less like a public place of worship and more like you are walking into her private home uninvited. A little warmth and a welcoming demeanor from the front desk would go a long way in preserving the respectful and positive atmosphere this temple deserves.

We've ended up visiting Siva Kameswari Temple in Costa Mesa a couple of times, and each visit brings a sense of peace. Parking is free, which is convenient, and sometimes you even get to hear live traditional music being played inside, adding to the spiritual vibe. Another unique touch is its location--right next to Santa Ana airport--so you can watch planes land up close. If you have kids, they might especially enjoy that part.
