I used this laundromat for the first time on a rainy Monday (my home washer was inop). I'd definitely use it again when in a bind. The attendants were helpful; other than a few dryer sheets on the floor, the facility was clean and I was glad to see a bathroom was available if needed. There is a TV on the wall and we all laughed at Steve Harvey on Family Feud. I was there about 3 hours. Smooth, drama free experience. Okay let me start with the parking lot. Really nice and spacious. Upon entering it's a nice establishment and it is clean. There are plenty of washers and dryers so that's a plus. It's not busy so it's nice and quiet. There are about 2-3 televisions. About 5 ceiling fans going so you won't be hot. Only thing I would complain about is the time. I expected the machines to be more time efficient than what they were just because of how high tech they were. Also the damn attendant on duty was a bit creepy. Followed me from the card machine and to my washing area and proceeded to give me unsolicited help with the washing machine, as if I needed it or asked for it. So the dreaded my washing machine broke happened to me . With dogs and cats and humans I am always doing laundry. Off to find a laundromat in my area. Now it has been awhile since i have used a laundromat so from what I remember I went to the bank and got a couple rolls of quarters. This place is under 2 miles from my house so easy peasy ...walk in and first impression is very clean lots of machines all seem to work. Ok so I load up machine and wait there is no place to put quarters . You need a laundry card ??? Ok took me a while to figure it out. But laundry is in. There is suppose to be an attendant on duty but I don't see anyone ...taking one star off only because there was no one here to explain to a newbie what to do read more

Owner is very friendly. This is probably the nicest laundry I've ever been in. The machines are all very new and seem well maintained. You don't put coins in the machines, you buy a cash card thing and use that. Very cool and great for people who would come regularly. The facility is well lit and maintained. My first time being at a laundry mat ever so I was nervous about how this would work. The attendant here is VERY helpful with showing you how to use the machines and getting you all setup to get in and out faster. The washers are really quick and the dryers can be a challenge but pretty simple once you get the hang out it. They offer FREE WiFi and the place is kept pretty clean. They have a few regulars which the attendant greets by name, so it seems like a pretty safe and family atmosphere style place! Glad I picked it! read more

New equipment, newer building, clean facility. That is all. However, they have a credit card system that you must have to use the machines. Getting one of their cards, then charge your money onto the card is a pain in the butt. If you have problems with the card, someone must be there to help or you are screwed. In other words, your money is locked into a card that can't be used anywhere else and you cannot get it back. I was there to wash clothes. I drove a bit longer to get to this facility due to the aforementioned good qualities. My card would not load money and the card would not work in the machines. Nobody was there to help. I threw the card away and did not/will not be back. Too many calisthenics just to wash fukken clothes. read more

I recently brought a oversized dog bed that wasn't able to fit in my washer at home. I took a chance at coming to this laundromat because of all the good reviews( I always read reviews before going someplace I've never been‍). When I walked in I was greeted by Ms Bernett (I'm sure I spelled that wrong, sry) and was shown how the machines work, sizes of machines(that are not old), prices for water settings and drying. I thought to myself, THANK YOU SWEET BABY JESUS ITS CLEAN AND SMELLS FANTASTIC! (Past bad experiences). After setting me up for success, we chatted a bit about the background of the facility and that it's named after a relative. It's a family business and I love that it's black owned. It breaks the stigma that only the Vietnamese culture are owners of these types of facilities. Ma Lu has a beautiful and clean laundry mat. I can't help but to Yelp this establishment bcuz of the horrible experience I received there TODAY. The owners are siblings and they both have such mean spirits AND demeanor. The older black lady was unapproachable and seemed miserable. She followed women around "micromanaging" everything. She yelled at children about their voices being too loud and she told a younger girl that her tank top was unacceptable dress code to wear while using her laundry mat. There was also an interesting exchange between her and a lady who walked in inquired about same day service. She got into a screaming match with a stranger. The older guy there was approached by a guy and has questions about the prices and his response was "Can't you read !!" Extremely unprofessional. Some folks are miserable and they show it without saying it. Nonetheless , If I can give this no stars I would indeed. This was a decent laundromat. It is the type that you have to buy a $1 card and add cash to it to use the wash (3 loads wash & dry = $10 for me using jumbo washer and dryer). The only reason that i wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the wifi password wasn't posted clearly and they didn't have anyplace to get drinks and/or snacks while I waited for my laundry. It was a clean and well organized laundromat. I would launder there again and recommend to my friends. read more
