I discovered this restaurant while walking around Camden and it totally made my day! The DJ was playing 90s hits, Happy Hour drinks were strong, and everyone seemed really happy to be there. I had a Jamaican Mule and jerk chicken paella - both surpassed my expectations! I would love to go back on a weekend evening when it's a little more crowded because I just know it will be a vibe. Service is slow but worth it and and staff friendly.

I had a reservation for 7:30pm on a Friday with my brother. We both ordered oxtails with Mac and cheese and plantains. Pros: my rum punch was really good. As soon as they placed my drink down, you could smell the Wray & Nephews The plantains were sweet which I was happy about. The mac and cheese was pretty decent. It has a very subtle taste but it was moist. Cons: my oxtail were not tender at all. It needed to be either left to stew longer or a pressure cooker should've been used. I was having a hard time finishing my meal. The rice and peas were really dry as well. Luckily there was enough sauce from the oxtails to pour on it. I would def come back to drink and possibly try another dish. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and know they charge a fee if you cancel your reservation within 2 days or miss your reservation.

From the moment you approach the restaurant, you can feel the vibrant energy coming from both the restaurant and the adjoining club -- which is part of the same establishment. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and especially attentive to any dietary restrictions or allergies. The food was enjoyable, and I'd definitely come back. I also had a drink, which was delicious!

I'll give it a four stars only because I didn't really enjoy my oxtails. They were a little too fatty however everyone else that I was with and enjoyed their meals. The service was fast. However, we got towards the end of the shift and they forgot an item I ordered the ambience is amazing. Great music.

Jerk Chicken was in point.... a taste spicy.

Was a solid option for Jamaican food in London. The jerk chicken and oxtails were in point. The plantains left something to be desired, but overall it was good ambiance and a great staff. Make sure you stop by.

Ma Petite had some good Jamaican food and a nice wait staff. We had the jerk chicken and curry goat and roti skins and it was delish! The food had nice Caribbean flavors and was a pleasure to eat. There were also lots of cool drinks to choose from with enough rum to make you feel nice but not so much that you couldn't think straight. Great music, good vibes and a great time.

Flavors popped! I went with the fritters and jerk plate. I'd recommended both. I don't understand why there is a word count on a review, but this sentence pushed me above the minimum.

So I'm giving this place three stars. The three stars are pretty much for the food alone. It was good, but nothing too special. The service.... well the gentleman were friendly, but they should shake the lady or teach her to be nice.

Legit Jamaican food for good prices. Depends who the server is but this can be hit or miss. Had the red stripe chicken and it was tasty. Basmati rice wasn't great though. Jerk chicken was tasty and not super hot. All in all a good place to grab a bite in the afternoon.

Probably a 4.5star very nearly a 5 star! We were walking around Camden not knowing where to go and were convinced to go to this place by a promoter. Thank goodness! What a great little find - oxtail and curry goat were absolutely delicious and tender. Definitely go for this next time I come back! I chose the jerk chicken - tasted quite bbq saucey which is why I've not given this place a full 5 star. The plantain was great as was the coleslaw, the rice was a little dry but still delicious. Passion fruit daiquiri was perfect! Service was was quick and very friendly. Price for quantity of food was brilliant. Interior was fun & cute. I'll definitely come here again!

Coming from a true Jamaican - I usually shy away from eating Jamaican cuisine outside of the home and family functions. This restaurant was absolutely AMAZING. I have never had food with such flavour and authenticity! The service was also phenomenal. I will definitely be returning. The drinks are fantastic as well. I wish I could give 10 stars. My new favourite place when in London.

1/4 grilled jerk chicken, with rice and peas, plantains and coleslaw.

If you know one thing about Raymond Penn, it's that Raymond Penn loves to have a little jerk. Ma Petite hit the spot.

After downing a Carrie Bradshaw-style cocktail at the chill subterranean Friendly Society (review:…read morehttps://yelp.to/4zJuovAN4J), Jamie W. and I were way too intimidated to face the manly crowd in front of Compton's. We went in the opposite direction on Rupert Street and found this inviting courtyard bar. It's marketed as a gay bar but... The clientele was more mixed than gay. Hey, it wasn't a big deal to us. Especially as we sauntered to the bar bathed in pink and royal blue dayglow. Boys bellying up to the bar. Oh yeah, we home. The print was really small in their comprehensive cocktail menu, but that didn't stop us from ordering more libations. Stop judging us. Jamie went for the £12.50 Margarita, and I continued my Cosmopolitan streak with their £12 one (photo: https://yelp.to/RsyQWeRD5R). We went back into the courtyard to find a table. The leafy terrace and strings of white light were quite inviting, and we ended up hanging out in this sanctuary until they closed at 11PM. Cool.
