About a week later I still wasn't convinced the tech got it right so I called Don back and he offered to come out (at no charge) to personally do an inspection. He came and found the problem after some testing and tried calling the water heater manufacturer to get a part that was under warranty. The company told him since we just bought the house and it changed ownership they no longer warrantied the water heater! Don didn't let that stop him - he went out to his truck and found a part that would work and changed it out. To this day we have more hot water than we've had since we lived here and I am SO HAPPY with Don's service, professionalism and his willingness to not quit until he had tried everything. Since then he has called a couple times just to check on everything to make sure it was still working well. THAT is what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Pat Neves, proprietor of 1st Choice Comfort Solutions, has been the only HVAC vendor "worth his salt" in both being able to understand the technology of the old HVAC units but also keep them running and making the necessary repairs. It has been my experience that other HVAC vendors would apply "band-aid approaches", probably because they did not have the expert technical knowledge that Pat Neves has. I can unequivocally state that Pat Neves/1st Choice Comfort Solutions has been a "life saver" here at New Bella Apartments at being able to maintain and repair our HVAC units and avoid our having to expend thousands of dollars on installing new systems. When AEP turned electricity back on sparks flew. Could've caught fire. Big time. And, it was after 9:00 at night. So, dark and cold. Second time, I have no lights in kitchen, no microwave or toaster. The whole wall on inside has no electricity. That includes my fridge, my living room lights, and two of the three plugs in living room. I lost over $400+ worth of food. Apt mgr called them several times, but they never answered. It was around 4:15 in afternoon, on Fri. It's Sat, still no word about them coming to fix. Still no fridge or lights in kitchen. Lots of extension cords in living room. Wow. Now it's Sunday. Still no fridge, lights, microwave, toaster, etc... Ok. Monday. Still no L&M. Ok. 10:18a.m. I have everything back on by 10:42 a.m. But wait!! Even though it is their incompetence or just pure laziness, I get nothing back to replace what I lost. Because I didn't take pictures. Sorry. Food was bad. A bit smelly. I trashed it. I guess they can go dumpster diving if they want. But they won't. I am going to post this on FB. In so many rooms and chats.
