I loved this museum and the exhibition features one of my all time favorite artists, Banksy!
This museum is one of the 80+ attractions that is included in the Discovery Copenhagen Card and I took advantage of it on a weekend afternoon of museum hopping!
If you don't have the Copenhagen Card, the admission is 160DKK, which is a little over $22.
You have to like Banksy to really make this museum worthwhile for you, and it definitely was amazing for me and was almost like my pilgrimage to art mecca.
I love what he stands for and absolutely love that his anonymity allows you to really focus on art, but also thru the years, he's made some pretty big statements, whether it be on the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean or commenting on the current political persuasions of the time.
This is a small museum and probably 90 minutes is more than enough time to visit all three floors of exhibitions.
Note that the part of the exhibition is also dedicated to another show titled Cute, which was also very much up my alley too.
Note that the stairs are narrow in this building and not sure how accessible it is for those that can't climb stairs, would check with the museum first if you need accessibility.
Very clean and private bathrooms on the second floor, the automatic lights are a little finicky but they eventually detect you're in there.
Staff were super nice and helpful. You can purchase drinks on the first floor and if you need to store items, lockers are 15DKK. Also, a small gift shop if you want to purchase anything.
I had a great time here and even if this wasn't on the Copenhagen Card, I'd be here in a heartbeat to see not only Banksy's works but also Haring, Basquiat, Warhol, etc. If graffiti art is your thing, you have got to make it here!
Note: Banksy's exhibition is going on until April 30, 2027. Go check it out! You'll come out a better person, I promise! read more
