At first, you miss it. Then you see the big umbrella outside but can't tell what it is. A hidden in plain sight type of place.
No sitting other than the two little benches outside and the entire park to yourself.
The owner (I think it was the owner) speaks little English and no one else does. But he went above and beyond to make sure we were going to like what he was going to prepare for us. Don't ask me the name because he said it in Italian and proceeded to say it was traditional from Puglia.
And was he right. Each panini was a generous size, all ingredients fresh and prepared on the spot for you. It is also a meat/cheese market so you know they have the best quality.
If you're in Monopoli, you should try it.
Just be aware that they observe siesta time so it may be closed from 2-5 read more
