The crew showed up at the time promised and took out the trees, ground the stumps, and ground the larger roots, cleaning as they worked. They had top notch equipment / machinery and a large enough crew to get the job done quickly (~90 minutes). When they were done, other than the disturbed soil in the work area, everything looked better than it did before because of the bonus leaf blowing of the yard and driveway. The final price was as quoted and more than fair in my opinion. I received a follow up call to ensure that I was satisfied with the work.

I never had tree work done without someone having to climb a tree. He has 2 lifts. The one he brought run on rubber tank like tracks and goes up 90ft. I was amazed. The stuff that would not fit in the grinder he had a lift arm to put it on a trailer. Very efficient crew of 4 guys I could not have been more pleased with the quality and price of their work. They were working on it until 3:00 am from the bucket truck, and they came back at 7:30 am with a crane, chipper, backhoe, and giant debris truck to finish the job. The reason for my 2-star review is because when all was said and done they left a hole in our roof. Mr. Sousa came back and looked at it and one of his workers swore up and down that nothing fell on our roof. I basically said to him "Before you showed up, no hole. After you're done, hole." Doesn't take a genius to figure this out. Now he did come back that day and replace the broken shingles but then said he'd be back later in the week to repair the hole underneath and with new shingles that match our current color. This was a month ago. Since then my calls have either gone to voicemail or, when he has picked up, he keeps pushing back the date of when he'll come by to make things right. I have given up expecting him.
