Purchased a hot tub from there during Covid. After a ton of run around about when it would come in it was delivered 7 months later. About 3 months after that it started leaking. Macksoods finally sent a repairman to fix it after three weeks. About a month later it started leaking again. They decided to warranty it so we didn't have a hot tub for over a month while that happened. About 4 months after we got the new tub the LED lights stopped changing colors. I called them and they sent someone out to change the control board. That didn't fix the problem so they decided not to deal with it. About a year after the lights stopped working the hot tub started leaking again. They picked it up for repair and when picking it up dropped it and managed to break my kids trampoline enclosure. When they brought it back the leak was fixed, but the lights had not been touched. They said that they would fix the trampoline enclosure 9months ago and still haven't done that so we have a useless trampoline sitting in our back yard that they never fixed. I called about the lights and they finally came out to fix them. They left a foam mess all around the hot tub. Definitely do not recommend! read more

Got a pool from Maksoods it was great price. It was delivered professionally and timely. The contractors that set up the pool Rock Solid Pools were great, very professional and installed it timely and efficiently. Only thing I would suggest is that Maksood should add Aqua Fill Pool Fill from Milford to their Water delivery list as we did not use any on their list as they were either hard to contact or not convenient. Need water call Aqua Fill Pool fill Milford. Everything else was super including the sales guy that was very informative , helpful and not a pressure sales guy. Happy Customer! read more

Well, November 23, 2019, I ordered custom order door and screen for my fireplace insert. I asked would it be in before the Holidays, meaning Christmas and New Years. "Absolutely" I was told. It's now January 23. 2020. Nothing yet. I also called Jan 7 and a different salesperson checked the warehouse and found it. My salesman was off for the day but he "will be calling you for an install" next week. Didn't happen. I called today and Scott said "it's been given to our installer" and "I thought he would have called by now" . Well installer will be talked to Friday AM which is tomorrow. So haven't been able to us the fireplace and it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. read more

Be very wary here, I bought some home theatre furniture here and was sold a $200 protection plan for the sectional, but when I needed the protection plan service I was informed that the company who provides the service never recieved anything from Macksoods, so I go to Macksoods and am dismissed, given the run around.... all I want is what I paid for or my money back. I cant help but to wonder how many people paid for the protection plan and their money is never paid to the company who provides and is just kept by Macksoods. At $200 a pop it adds up quick. So now I have to go through small claims court to get my $200 back. read more

Contractors are next door installing a pool and debris everywhere including my yard. Several papers blew over a cyclone fence. The installers are a bunch of pigs. In the market for a pool but won't be doing business with this outfit. They can't even pick up their mess! read more

I wouldn't give Macksood's one star but I must to post a review. I bought a $6000.00 pool in 2010. Less than 7 years later it received storm damage and Macksood's could not get the parts to fix it. They spun me for over 6 weeks before I gave up and tore down the pool. Macksood's is quick to sell you something and happy to take your money but if you have problems with anything, GOODLUCK!!! Also The price they wanted to charge me to fix it was more than the price of a new pool. Lesson learned Macksood's can't be trusted & they will never get another dollar from me. read more

I purchased the above ground pool to be put in the ground. The pool was left 3 feet out of the ground. I have a bad hip so we figured the inground way was the best route. I asked for the wedding cake stairs several times throughout the process. When the pool was finished I had stairs for a deck. Beware they DO NOT put your stairs together or on your pool. I do not have a deck, I was waiting for the pool to be completed. When I called the store the sales person said he was sorry and I would be getting a deck in the future, right? The sales person never offered to order the stairs I requested as I knew there was an up charge. He just said oh well he was sorry. I want to use the pool now and had an event planned for the holiday weekend, stairs were a must. My family had to figure out a way to put the stairs in so people could get in and out of the pool without tearing the lining, mind you there is nothing but dirt around the pool. The contractor charged an extra $700 to have the pool in by the 4th of July (I purchased the pool May15th, and was rescheduled 3 time by the contractor); he plumbed the pool backwards showed up July 3, 2018 to fix the mistake. Meanwhile the pump ran backwards when we plugged it in for the first time . The contractor did not show me how to use any of the equipment, go over the pump he was more worried about getting back to the city. I requested a grade on the pool level 3ft and 5ft. I did not receive this it is all one level 5ft. The contractor tore my yard up and is now unlevel and on a slope. Poor service, poor contractors. read more
