This is the second time I am posting the same review of my personal experiences with Macomb county veteran services. Macomb County Veteran Services even removed their yelp listing to avoid other veterans seeing honest reviews. Pretty shady way to avoid accountability. On the second Monday of January 2018, county employee and veteran service office Lisa Marie Marie Duncan Edwards began spreading rumors to leadership in the Vietnam Vietnam Veterans of America's post 154. I am a disabled veteran who uses vocational rehabilitation and other veteran services at the Macomb county veteran service center. The rumor Lisa Marie Duncan Edwards spread was "William hates Vietnam's veterans." Lisa Marie Duncan Edwards spread the above slander while working on the clock as a county employee. The slander and bullying has made using federal services much more stressful than it needs to be. Why are county employees harassing veteran clients at their place employment? Why doesn't the county HR department address hostile work environments created by bullies? After the sexual assault, I sought out resources to gain a livelihood through Vocational Rehabilitation. My voc rehab counselor's office is located directly next to Lisa Marie Duncan Edward's office. I have been escorted out the back door of the building? Why that's humiliating? Rather than address this problem at any point in the last 2 years, Macomb County Veteran Services has had my reviews on Yelp, and google removed. I am following the policies of yelp. Why hide the truth? On top of all this, my vocational rehab counselor was escorting me out of the back door as per an email sent out by my former employer. Vocational rehabilitation services is a federal veteran program in which I am qualified for an entitled to. It's humiliating that a veteran organization would walk a veteran our a back door for over a year so nobody saw that the org was working with that veteran. In October my vocational rehab counselor moved on. The organization made no efforts to inform veterans about this. No, I understand why my emails were ignored for the last several months when I needed help with concerns at college. Due to a lack of support and being ignored the problems at my college escalated. I didn't know that the employee wasn't working their anymore.

Much of the food is donated by local stores or restaurants. They get a ton of stuff into their warehouse. They always go through the daily protocol in the big conference room. You are to wear gloves and a hair cover and beard cover for those with facial hairs. Now you can add a face mask to the attire too. You start the event work around 9am and work until 11am to noon. The warehouse job is the hardest. I have sorted through some rough looking potatoes, to water logged and decrepit looking cucumbers and tomatoes. It makes you really appreciate the foods we can easily pick through at the grocery store to get the most appealing ones. Any sign of mold gets tossed. This is the hardest of the jobs, but also the most rewarding since it's labor intensive too. I have also had the pleasure of assembling sandwiches in the kitchen too, with wheat squares of bread, some meat like slices of pork meat of some sort and cheese too. Volunteering your time and energy is greatly rewarding and so helpful to those in need. This is a great center that gives back ro the community. At the end of your day, they will brief you on how many bags or boxes of food were boxed that day. It's the only day big the original big 3 OEMs groups can collaborate and work together side by side without any intellectual property issues too.
