This while both clerks continued happily engaged and laughing with another Caucasian customer. I've been looking for a clever new business jacket and dress for an upcoming gala and was drawn in by a Shop Sale sign on the sidewalk, but found no indication of any sale inside the store. During my eight minute visit, no one approached or engaged me in any manner as I moved through the store browsing their few offerings, though I never left their watchful gaze. I briefly considered addressing a sales clerk myself before putting my card back into my wallet . I cannot endorse nor recommend anyone to this effete core of impudent snobs. I wish I had checked their reviews prior to my visit to be aware of the condescending attitude reflected in the owner responses. A similar offputting bravada is clearly carried through to the demeanor of the staff. Bottom line, you judged me on site so you lost my sale. In summary, I was generally disappointed at the arrogant lack of effort in their blatantly inequitable customer relations, combined with the tragically overpriced and limited selection of this shop. Cannot recommend. Will not return.

Sure enough and I was fairly forewarned! I went into the Chico's (by the way a Spanish word) and the older flashy Caucasian sales lady would not even say "hello" to my mom and I. Right in front of us they overlooked us turning their cheek and walked right past us to greet the other Caucasian shoppers offering help, a dressing room, and telling them about specials, etc. We were there about 15-20 minutes and never even a "hello" or "thank you for coming in". They immediately made us feel unwelcome although we continued to look at the merchandise trying to not show them that we felt their neglect and rudeness, but we knew we would not spend a dime in such a rude establishment. Shame on you "sales associates" at Chico's for discriminating against your customers of different ethnic backgrounds. You don't know how much or how little people have in their wallet to spend (which we had plenty) at your store. Your bad misconception of people/customers is hurting your company's bottom line $. Maybe your company can afford to have this type of service and loose business in this economy, but as long as they keep sales associates like this I will nver ever return or give my business $ to Chico's. I will keep giving my business to companies with real customer service and real "sales associates" including other Hispanic women and other ethnicities like those at Nordstrom, Macy's, and Dillard's. Thanks Chico, but no thanks, there are plenty of other stores for Hispanics and other ethnic women to spend their money in. Gather round kids while uncle Bob tells you a story about deplorable customer service. The saucy brunette took her Movado watch to Macy's to have it sent to the factory for a battery and service. Two weeks later she received a call and was informed that the service would be roughly $50.00 which she authorized. After another two weeks she had not received any information on the watch so she called Macy's to follow up and was informed that they had just received the estimate and it would cost $536.000 because the watch pretty much needed a complete rebuild. She asked for a copy of the estimate and discovered that they did not send it to the factory but rather to a jewelry store in Rancho Cucamonga California. She told them to send the watch back which they did two weeks later. Six weeks have now transpired. As a last resort she decided to take it to Fast Fix Watch and Jewelry Repair at Flatirons Mall. The young man, who was the watch tech, took the watch and said he would do the best that he could with it. After de- magnitizing and replacing the battery, the watch has kept perfect time for three days. Macy's is a national chain that is being forced to close stores due to failing sales. If this is an example of their customer service concepts, I can see why they are slowly going out of business. Shame on you Macy's and their jeweler M &G for trying to rip us off. Yay for the small guy in the mall that saved the day! Those folks have earned my business for as long as I wear a watch. I would encourage all my friends on Facebook to support them whenever possible. read more

Done with Macy's! Go to hell. I hope you go out of business and Amazon kicks your ever incompetent butt! A special manager known as Kori Lancaster from the Broomfield location at the Flatirons has not only never been put through training but her white trash background justified her calling me a bitch when I questioned her inadequate merchandising techniques. She's the store manager but cannot articulate formal and intellectual sentences. Good job Macy's! She was sweaty, smelly and when I asked her to honor the quoted price, she admitted it was a misprint and could not honor the price. Her inadequate management skills, incompetent interpersonal skills is forcing me any husband to return over $1000 worth of Christmas gifts purchased from Macy's and repurchase them from Nordstrom who heard this story and Is more than happy to do what Macys didn't do, give a human customer experience. Macy's, you're an incompetent employer and business. Disgusting. This was the most disrespectful interaction with a "manager" that I've ever had. Macy's your staff needs to be taught better hygiene and how to de escalate situations instead of smiling on camera as she calls me a bitch for wanting the price displayed to be honored. I apologized for not knowing procedure and took my ticket to the counter. The pizza person apologized to me and I told her, I was just unaware and know what to do for next time. No harm, no foul. She put a rush on my order because I was understanding and my wait was only about 10 minutes. I appreciated that.
