First off, Nice guys. seriously. BUT....the plumber that installed my new sink, and faucet, did a horrible job of caulking. Someone came out to check on that, almost the day after...no tools, couldn't do anything, said they would be back, and I have heard NOTHING from mad city since.The new faucet they insisted I get new, is way too hard for me to use. I have a bad arm, and the faucet is hard to manuver. Went to use my dishwasher, and it started tipping!!! They never hooked it up after replacing the counters. It took me two and a half days to "clean" everything, before I could put things back into my cupboards. Absolutely everything was a mess....they did vacumn a little, but, it was definitely a mess when they left. I would not recommend this company....no reputable company would leave a persons living area in that kind of mess. read more

If I could give this company a zero, I would. We had a plumbing leak in our home, did not know what was leaking. Removed the drywall and installation, then discovered it was from the new plumbing mad city had installed for the shower just 7 months ago. Had to call a local plumber to fix the leak or have no water. Called Mad city to see if we could get reimbursed for the work. Got I will have to talk with my manager, that was 2 weeks ago, did not hear a word back. This is not a 100% guarantee company. read more

I would not spend a dime with this company. One of their representatives stopped at my house and rang my doorbell, completely ignoring the NO SOLICITING sign literally above the doorbell. He was rude and insisted the law allows him to solicit, regardless of signage. I ultimately ordered him to leave my property and as he was walking away he told me to "go f*ck myself." read more

I had 2 in home visits for a new shower. I was sold on the second offer. But I had to pay half right then and there. No time to mull it over. Do you really want a shower for the next 20 years that you thought about for ten minutes? The next day the orice went up $7K. They have a lifetime warranty, best in the business. That means they have a good product, maybe even a superior product. The sales pitch is the worst of the 3 bids I've had so far. The first visit you'll get 3 prices, the lowest you'll have to sign a contract right there. If you reject that offer you will receive phone calls once or twice a week sometimes, for the next several months. I invited them back after receiving 2 other bids, just to see what the next price would be. The sales pitch was rude. It got downright insulting. Very low price, no door, inferior wall panels... My husband decided I needed a new shower, what a guy! So he contacted Mad City without me knowing, then told me someone was coming to talk with us about a new shower. The rep for Mad City , Justin, was thorough with his presentation to the point I was a little overwhelmed, but completely understood when he said he wanted us to know EVERYTHING before deciding. A couple of bits of information that stuck with me was that the guarantee would carry over to the next owner if we sold and if there was any mold or damage behind our old shower, the repair cost would be included in our price. When the gentleman , sorry I can't remember his name, came to measure, he was just as friendly and respectful as we would hope. We just had our transformation done a day ago and, so far, we have been pleased with Mad City. The gentleman who did the work, Oscar, arrived around 8:30 - 9:00 am and left around 8:45 pm. He handled it by himself except for a very short visit by a helper. Oscar was polite, professional, respectful of our home, and a very hard worker! It may seem pricey, but to know that our shower was custom made and not just a one piece slide in is nice to look at. Also, just to remember that guarantee is a great thing to have, not only for us, but for the next owner, if and when that happens! What a great selling point! I realize not everyone will be as happy as we are, but when you think about it, it is all in what matters to you and your perspective! Based on just an in home consultation, I would not recommend this company. I had never heard of them and thought we would give them a shot, but it was just a bad experience all around. Plus, they had the most expensive quote of everyone we met with. It's interesting how the price can start at one point, and magically gets cut in half by the time the appointment is over, but only stays that way if we decide same day. Pushy strategy, and not at all pleasant. The salesman was here way too long. He showed up an hour late, then spent almost 3 hours here-on a week night. Was not at all worried about our time. He brought all these papers of other companies, and spent more time talking poorly of other companies than he spent telling us about his company. Did not like the used car salesman attitude. If that's the way the company wants to be represented, then I'm surprised they are getting business. I was very upfront that I wanted 5 different quotes. I am a new homeowner so I have never had to get windows replaced, I wanted to get all the information I could. He kept pushing us to make a decision that night, and this was our first appointment of the 6 I had lined up. When we said for the 10th time we are not signing anything today, his attitude changed and he was very rude and dismissive. When I asked for a breakdown of all the prices and costs, he refused to get that to me. That seems sketchy to me, I won't ever buy anything if I don't fully understand what I'm purchasing. read more

This company pressured us to sign saying we had 3 days to change mind, but when i did they sent a person to negotiate to get us to stay with them, they said we would get all the things needed that we wanted for our small bathroom. including the vanity and toilet replace that we had already purchased, the flooring was supposed to be done by a person the salesman knew personally. walk in shower was completed Oct 13, 2024. the flooring never got done as the 9 weeks waiting and the person back tracking on the written contract that we signed. A very disappointment situation, they had bad communication, and so we finally said forget it, they never returned a call after many voicemails i left.
