Place is really clean inside, decent size area, new equipment, not a lot of people in there after hours which is when I go, to just work out in peace without a bunch of dudes in snapbacks taking selfies in the mirrors. Price is a lot more than Planet Fitness, and there's really no benefits. There's a Zumba class for women for an extra $3 per class. There's a room with a drop down panel screen with instructional workout videos which is cool. Lots of weight lifting equipment and machines. Good amount of treadmills and runners. Lots of flatscreens and a radio playing in case you didnt bring your own headphones.

The various areas of the building are kept as clean and sanitized as possible . All in all a nice community facility ! Admission is either by membership , or one can pay a daily entrance fee for use of the facility . Has rags instead of paper towels, so just rubbing germs on top of germs. The charge is what makes me the most mad. If they had actually used it towards the gym I would not be that mad. Since that charge 3 tvs have been added. 2 facing the ellipticals and bikes and 1 facing the weight machines. They are set on the soaps channel and you can't hear. When I first signed up, the employee told me they had over 2000 members. Times that by the 22 dollar fee and you have $44,000 dollars that bought a whole 3 tvs. Instead they should focus on fixing the broke machines or getting new ones. Overall I would not recommend and cannot wait to get out of my contract.

I asked the front desk and he said it's because there isn't a woman on duty right now. I would rather them wait til the following shift to clean the locker room than to have to feel uncomfortable because there is a man in the locker room. He's literally dusting lockers and piddling around. Seems like those tasks could wait. The boy at the front desk said if I have any issues to please consult front desk first. That the old man hasn't had any issues so far so why would he start with me? Seems like a terrible response to something this concerning but I guess that's just how Ontario planet fitness gets down. For $10 per month, you get what you pay for…read more They have a LOT of cardio machines where you never need to wait. There is a decent number of weight machines, but it seems that some members "park" themselves on a machine for 20 minutes without getting off the machine between sets. When you ask to work in, they seem annoyed. I guess this explains some of the clientele. I wouldn't call the gym overly clean but it isn't filthy. It seems the paper towel holders are always out and we end up walking around to find one that is supplied. The gym has a lot of turn-over in staff. Some of the staff are friendly and some only provide the obligatory "bye" when you are leaving (they are required by PF's headquarters to acknowledge everyone when they leave). The location is convenient and because of the cost, I will continue to go. If I could change one thing, it would be to have an indoor track, but there is no way to rearrange the equipment to handle that. Given the option, I would find another gym but the only nearby options are either muscle-head gyms or are 5 times the cost. If I lived closer to the YMCA, I would join there instead.
