My birthday party was December 10 and it was currently early in November. Given the number of Christmas parties and other things going on in December I was pretty desperate to lock someone down because I wanted karaoke for my birthday party damn it and I intended to get it. After an unhelpful shout out to local yelpers (no responses..booo!), I used the google to find some local places. I finally settled on Nashville Party Authority because a) the price was lower than the other and b) Blair really talked to me about songs that would be available and c) he made me feel comfortable that he would be there and knew how to lead a party. True to his word, Blair was there with a DJ in training and were already set up by 8pm. He assured me that they would play awesome dance music until people got up enough liquid courage to sing and would advertise the karaoke so that people could get their guts up. He had most every song we wanted to sing (very few were not available) and played music in between when I was opening gifts and when people weren't signed up to sing. There was no actual SIGNING up either, just walk up and tell him and you are UP NEXT or put in exact order as signing up. Since it was a private party with only 40ish guests it wasn't hard to sing whatever you want. He had half of my party dancing their asses off in between songs too so he knows how to get people feeling festive. By the way, so does alcohol!! They bring the sound, the books for jogging your memory on songs, microphones (two), the TV with words, everything you need except a bunch of singers to get your groove on. Cost was also reasonable for the time of year, Saturday night party, and the relatively late booking. I intend to keep this guy in my mental rolodex to use again next time I want to have a fun party. You should keep them in your mental rolodex too!!

I thought we blew it by calling so late but they hustled and got the whole thing done quickly. All details were settled by the time I got to Nashville and everything was handled with the personal touch of the ownership. This company was awesome and probably plan some wild bachelor/bachelorette parties too but we were just a group of guys looking to do a boat day on the lake (highly recommend) and that was just as fun. Our driver Nathan, or "NateDog" as we referred to him, was a bro and the perfect man for the job. He took us for some cliff jumping and tubing before bringing us to party cove, a sandbar on the lake where you can stand, drink, and mingle with other boaters. Plenty of women, men, locals, tourists, whatever you're looking for, or just hang on your boat if you prefer that. NashVegas provides everything from gas to beer & alcohol to food & water to sunscreen & towels. We also had great speakers and were blasting great music the whole time. Just bring good vibes and your liver, everything else is provided. Best part was that Damon was there himself in the boat next to us. He had his own crew so we all linked up and partied together, but he was also constantly making sure everything went well for both groups. Bottom line, if you prefer some out of touch/corporate staff that would rather set up your event and then never see you again or be bothered with anything once your check clears this is not for you... but if you want to hire a company that will treat you like close friends catching up on old times as much as customers, and has no problem sticking with you throughout the whole process to make sure you have a good time (for a reasonable price by the way), look no further than NashVegasVIP and ask for Damon. If I'm ever back in Nashville I'm setting up multiple events through this company, it was the highlight of our entire trip! Cheers!

I'm a little torn on the rating, it's somewhere around 3.5 in my mind. OK, first a little bit about…read moremy kiddos - we've been to more kid places in more states than you can shake a stick at. OK, probably not, but I've seen some of the best, and then there's the rest. Glow Galaxy isn't in the best. It's not the worst. It's a place that doesn't appear to have changed a thing in the past 4 years. You've got a mini golf area in the middle that two out of 40 kids will even go into, and you've got some inflatables and standard fair blowups that the kids can play on. There are also I think three party rooms and a bunch of seats for the adults. It's interesting once for the kids, second time we were at a birthday I got asked near the end how much longer we had, third and fourth times I was there both ended up with the kids making up games that only involved the space. Not the fault of Glow Galaxy really, but when it's done with the kids it's done. When my oldest was 4 she went through one of the inflatables several times and then managed to get stuck in it. I was about 13 feet away sitting and, well, noise in that place of a 4yo screaming that she was stuck vs sugared-up birthday party was not perceptible. Due to the black lighting I'd also misidentified another child as her, so yeah, track your small ones closely. No harm as a note. Just mentioning to beware. Party rooms have always been too small and cramped when I've been there. That or maybe too many people are showing up for the space. Seems like they could combine a couple of the rooms and expand the one on the right and that would handle it as I never see three parties running, but maybe that's observer bias. I'd kind of like to see that Glow Golf gone, a few other activities put in there. The place has the space and potential, it's just not breakout great.

I proceeded around the store with my daughter when she touched a balloon and the lady yelled at me with a very rude tone said can you not let your daughter do that in disgusting manner? Or maybe one second when my daughter touched the balloon so I did not see her do it and then stopped it right away of course. There was no reason for attitude towards me as a first-time customer or customer at general display definitely needs better customer service as not one single person there helped. I proceeded to leave as I wasn't going to give this business my money as I was planning on buying over 2000 balloons for a giant event that I will not be using this company.

Lush green gardens, and a nice inside with exposed beams and classic wood flooring make for a simple and rustic venue. There's a porch area complete with bench seating and ceiling fans with lighting that are great for a summer or spring day that fades into a lovely sunset for an evening of fun. Ample street parking is available for guests. My only gripe would be the occasional roar of traffic or passing semi trucks on the nearby interstate during an intimate outdoor ceremony. However, its not enough to dock this place a full star. Although I didn't get to see it I do know that there is an upstairs room available as well. Great venue all around.
