Office staff "seem" uncaring and this place does not "seem" to respect your time. The person (Heather) who called me back was also the one performing the procedure was kind and knowledgeable and also took good care of me. Please read carefully as this is not a BAD review l Just saying if I'm performing a test don't stress me out before I get started.

This place is fantastic. I see Dr. Doctor, as does all of my family, and he is absolutely amazing…read more He's extremely knowledgeable and keeps up to date with what's going on in various medical fields. This new location on Old River is great. Very convenient. Hopefully we'll be able to get my in-laws ICD checked there in the near future. As for the Sillect location...the imaging side is great. Front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I've had three ultrasounds there and every time I have excellent service. Even my CT scan went well. The appointment side is just as great. They have friendly staff and the wait has reduced since the Old River location opened. Parking at the Sillect location can be a bit congested, but seems better with the other location now open. The actual Heart Hospital... fantastic. Nothing but excellent service from everyone I encountered. Highly recommend for your cardiology and vascular needs.

The first time I met with the doctor he assured me to be in good hands and eased my mind. The day before my ECHO I receive a call Sunday afternoon by the doctor to verify my appointment and answer any questions I had which, was a very kind gesture. I loved that my technician walked me through the entire process she gave me a sense of peace, making it a positive experience. I was even scheduled for the ultrasound at 8:30 AM and the results at 9:15 AM on the same day so I didn't have to wait long for my results or have to return another day. The Atul Aggarwal Md Cardiology Clinic personnel really take care of you ! For the matters of the heart I definitely recommend this place the entire team is compassionate and friendly and as an added bonus they have an extraordinary coffee machine!

My aunt was discharged from the hospital in mid December, after 10 days of being in A-fib. They…read morerecommend this doctor, so I called to make an appointment and they gave me an appointment in late January. I wasn't happy about it, but understood it was the Holidays. On the day of the appointment, we waited well over an hour to be called in, then waited for the doctor another good while after the diagnosis and vitals were done. Once he came in, he checked the diagnostics results, the hospital records, and told us she needed to go to an "electrphysiologist", that there were many in town, that there would be no charge for the visit. After 2- 2.5 hrs, we left with no referral and, turns out, not even ax récord we'd been there. So we had to go back to PCP and request a referral, and now she has an appointment with another cardiologist in March. My aunt ended up in the hospital again for the same thing. I really resent the fact that he did not bother to save her a little time with a referral.

I really wanted to like this office. I like how they took me on the same week as a new patient. I…read morewas ok with doc, I'm not picky. I just expect them to listen to me. I did not like how they started to act when I asked to see specialist of my choice. Assistant asked doc if he knew specialist. He said no, but he knows the one he was referring me to. Thank goodness for Yelp and Google reviews I was able to search the doc that he was referring me to instantly, and I did not like what patients said about her. Really, I was gonna give any specialist a chance, but also had one in mind. The specialist of my choice had not yet received my referral, called this office and they said that there was no referral for me on file. So now she has to go over with assistant and they will call me in another 3-4 days. I know this is not a big deal for any of the staff here, but I'm not feeling well. I switched insurance for my well-being. I'm trying to get well.

I've never had any issue with Dr. Baker or any of the providers in the office. He is knowledgeable,…read morehis bedside manner is solid, and I always get the feeling that he genuinely cares for his patients. But I will echo what has been previously mentioned by other reviewers. The issue is with some of the administrative staff. One area where incompetence needs to be non-existent is within the department that deals with the coding and billing of insurances and all that that entails. Assumptions about whether or not an insurance company is going to approve or disapprove a particular prescription or medical procedure is not for that individual to make. In this case, one of the staff assumed that they knew that a particular insurance was going to deny, or even give push back, regarding a particular medical procedure that was ordered by the doctor, so that individual didn't even bother to push the referral forward. Rather, they assumed that they knew everything about how the insurance company was going to respond, thereby withholding the referral request and prolonging what may very well be a life-altering test. Playing God in this manner is not for any staff member to do. They are there to do a particular job without bias, as should anyone employed in any capacity in the medical community. This should be important for anyone who is seeking a provider for their medical care. This is just my experience, and everyone seeking medical care must make those decisions about whom they see for care themselves. I am simply providing a little information about my experience to help others make sound decisions for themselves.
