The evolution of damage was also discussed. They explained to us the next steps to help get the roof fixed including what to do with the insurance company. I appreciated this as I was clueless. I cannot say any bad about the effort that was put forward to rectify is initial problem. Quote was very well put together and he explained everything very well. They weren't the least expensive option but, although the price differences were marginal, the professionalism, organization, and service Yuras offered were worth the slight difference. Most of our community needed new roofs and the storm chasers were out in full force! Companies we'd never heard of and had practically zero presence on the internet for references were everywhere. Yuras chased no one in the neighborhood. I can't even speak highly enough of the care and cleanliness of the crew. Luke's crew laid tarps where needed and cleaned up after themselves each day (it took 2 days). We haven't found a single nail or scrap in our yard since they finished. They even combed our neighbor's yard closest to our house to make sure nothing landed there! Our other neighbors are still complaining of finding stray nails weeks after they had theirs replaced by other companies! Between shingles selection, other roofing necessities, warranty and customer service, we were very pleased with our decision to hire Yuras. I hope we won't need another roof any time soon, but I would hire Yuras again in a heartbeat if we did.

Just recently had my roof replaced by Yura's Roofing. They were fantastic throughout the whole…read moreprocess. They worked directly with my insurance for all of the adjuster's inquiries. The process was smooth and simple. The quote was perfectly in line with what the insurance estimated. After the job was finished, we had some paint peel from the fascia which is common with full replacements. Yura's noticed the peel and scheduled a painter to touch up all the areas. They also did an AMAZING job with cleanup. We have dogs so we were worried about the company leaving nails and other dangers in the back yard. Well after they left there was not a scrap that could be found. They even came back the day after to scan around the house for any scraps with a magnet. I think the only hiccup in the process was that they only take checks as payment. They also do card, but I think it was somewhere around a 2-3% fee, so we obviously opted for the check process, but the only issue is we haven't used checks in years so we had to order them to be able to pay the vendor. It would have been really nice to be able to do a direct wire transfer. But that is a very minor issue when the product they provide is solid. I wouldn't waste time with other quotes tbh, just go with this company.

He then went on my roof and did his inspection. Once complete I asked how long it would take and he stated a week and maybe a few days longer depending on the final inspection. I asked why so long when the first company stated they could complete it in 1 day. Chris told me "It's not good to immediately install panels the day the roof is installed. You should wait a few days for the panels to settle." Something the first company failed to inform me. When I eventually shared the insurance quote with Chris, he found a lot of items the adjuster and the first company missed. He then went back to my insurance adjuster and fought that battle for us. In the end I decided to go with D&D Construction because not only did Chris seem to know more about the right process to replace a roof with solar panels, but he also found things missed initially. I got the feeling the first company just wanted to take the insurance money, do quick job, and get back to the city they came from. Chris did the post install inspection and found a couple areas of tar on my patio. He called the roofing foreman and the next day the foreman was at my home and cleaned the spots. I am thankful I found Chris on Google and will highly recommend him to anyone needing a roof replacement.

At 3:34pm Eddie stated he'll check with office. At 7:06 pm he stated the office had nothing signed by me and for me to check my email. Aug 27 at 7:50 am I sent a screen shot showing that I have not received any Docusign correspondence June and asked who the email address was from so I could reverse search for the email. Aug 29th at 9:46 am, I asked Eddie again to please send the contract. Sept 4th at 5:52 pm, I asked for a timeline again for the contract, materials, work scheduled and eta for completion. I haven't had a response from Eddie since Aug 27th. On Sept 5th at 2:16 pm, I asked to just have my $2600 returned.
