Alfred Trevino (Owner) and his right hand man George (carpenter) came by for an inspections identified the rotted areas, showed me, then gave me a quote that I felt was very reasonable for what was required before the roof replacement began. Once hired, he timed the work so that the carpentry was completed the day before the roofing crew came in. The crew came in and indtalked the roof in one day. They properly installed the roof addressing what was installed incorrectly by the last roofing company that replaced my roof when I first purchased this house. The workmanship actually looked good when the install was complete. Alfred worked with me in choosing color of flashing and singles. I went with the darker drip edge that looks great against the lighter color paint of the house. It made some of the color in the brick stand out. I was very impressed when all was said and done. I highly recommend using Alfred Trevino and his company, Storm Roofing. Reasonable prices, accurate quotes, flexible with scheduling, prompt, efficient AND No payment whatsoever till the job was done! (**No scanning opportunity**) I would give 6 stars if I could! The kitchen we wanted to create required removing 2 interior walls in the living room, including a wet bar, and a major support wall. It was a massive undertaking and involved the re-routing of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and changing the floor. The structural components of the project, themselves, were a challenge, but the aesthetic updates proved to be an entirely additional issue for most home and kitchen renovation companies. We wanted to update our 80's style kitchen and keep our original cabinets. I was repeatedly told this wasn't possible. Lifestyle was more than happy to honor my wish of keeping the cabinets, while also adding newer ones that contrasted, and even updated the hardware on the originals. Additionally, after removing the wet bar, there was a big space in our original wood parquet flooring. We'd been told by ALL the companies that the wood parquet had to be replaced for different reasons, mostly that it would be hard to find a new one to match the original. As a result, we planned to replace the entire downstairs flooring (a $25K cost to us) to accommodate the new gap in the floor. Haviv's team pieced together and stained new parquet to match. We were amazed by how it turned out! Everything in the space flows so seamlessly. It feels as if the wet bar were never here to begin with, and the kitchen is new and fresh, but also maintains it's original character and beauty. Over and over again, other renovation companies wanted to rip out the entire kitchen to create a new "modern" one. My fear was a kitchen that felt out of place in our older home. Lifestyle went above and beyond to give us a kitchen that truly feels like it belongs. Haviv was spot on for his estimated completion, and I thought the crew was unbelievably efficient with their time, arrived early, stayed late, and Haviv was on site various times daily. We had told them the exact paint we wanted during the estimate, by text to the guy that gave us the estimate and by a phone call the previous day and never was it mentioned that it would be an additional cost until after the painters arrived and began their work. After many conversations they did reduce it so that it was $150 over the estimate instead of the $390 over the estimate. Since they knew exactly what we wanted when getting the estimate I do not expect the price to change unless I add requests. I was told that I just didn't understand how estimates work. We did not have a problem with the painting only the "bait and switch technique".

I called the company and they say "oh yeah the quote guy does that a lot". Then they offer you that service for an extra cost. It's like a bait and switch. The sub contractor company itself (not Rodriguez Painting) were good. Communication was good for the most part but when they power washed the whole house they went really heavy on the windows and unfortunately that process flooded the house with water primarily around the windows. The clean up was pretty intensive. They should mention to home owners that flooding could happen so that we could seal the inside. I wouldn't recommend this company due to this experience.

He then went on my roof and did his inspection. Once complete I asked how long it would take and he stated a week and maybe a few days longer depending on the final inspection. I asked why so long when the first company stated they could complete it in 1 day. Chris told me "It's not good to immediately install panels the day the roof is installed. You should wait a few days for the panels to settle." Something the first company failed to inform me. When I eventually shared the insurance quote with Chris, he found a lot of items the adjuster and the first company missed. He then went back to my insurance adjuster and fought that battle for us. In the end I decided to go with D&D Construction because not only did Chris seem to know more about the right process to replace a roof with solar panels, but he also found things missed initially. I got the feeling the first company just wanted to take the insurance money, do quick job, and get back to the city they came from. Chris did the post install inspection and found a couple areas of tar on my patio. He called the roofing foreman and the next day the foreman was at my home and cleaned the spots. I am thankful I found Chris on Google and will highly recommend him to anyone needing a roof replacement.

Our contact, Joey Vidal, worked within our budget and with our insurance quote while providing us with high-quality products that we needed without giving us options that we didn't need. Once we agreed on the work, we were quickly added to their schedule, and the team arrived on the scheduled day. They spent a few hours on prep, removing gutters and shutters, then arrived the next day and began work. They stayed late and almost completed the job in one day, but needed to come back the next morning, completing the job in less than two days. The entire time, Joey kept us up to date via phone calls and text messages and provided drone pictures of the roof. Everyone we worked with was courteous and respectful of our time.
