TL;DR MADE is a wonderful program for our youth that goes above and beyond the basics by instilling good habits, discipline and a strong sense of respect among peers. Identifying the right coach can be challenging. Look no further than MADE, which has taught me that there is so much more to learn through the lens of baseball. 1. Good Habits. One of the first things that I noticed is the practice of players picking up after themselves, specifically the player in the "hole" needs to pickup the bat after a hit. These subtle lessons go a long way towards teaching good habits, which I believe is what makes MADE stand out over anything else. That is just one example, but you'll learn that MADE coaches are very invested in our players learning to develop this life lesson in many other ways. 2. Discipline. Don't show up late or you'll do pushups. May sound harsh but these kids knock it out and understand the importance of being on time. Tuck your shirt in; doesn't warrant pushups but does instill a sense of discipline to be neat and show up looking like a player. MADE coaches are not going to let subtle things slip, and that is exactly what we need in these times and in this town. 3. Respect. For one another and for coaches. From my (limited) experience as a bad news bears parent coach, this is the most challenging attribute to teach. MADE kids develop a bond and respect for one another that I've not seen anywhere else. Everyone is welcome and no matter what will get a pump by their fellow players. MADE coaches instill a diverse and inclusive environment by making sure that every player is treated with respect, no matter their skill level. In summary, if you have a little league player, then I encourage you to give this program a try. We are regulars at hustle ball and camps (a great option when school is out). I purposely did not single any coach out in my review because they are all great and deeply invested in our youth! See it for yourself. I often sit in the stands and watch my two boys getting MADE into good kids. One last thing worth noting is that I'm not looking for baseball scholarships. I came to LA this summer from Phoenix with my 14 year old son who is going to be a freshman in high school for a couple weeks to visit family and enjoy a little summer vacation. I spoke with my son about trying to find a baseball camp and/or a private pitching instructor for him and he was all in. We've been a baseball family since he was in t-ball...he's very passionate about baseball and has expressed wanting to play in high school and college since he was 11 years old. I looked up local baseball camps and private instructors and was lucky enough to find Coach Isaac with MADE Baseball and decided to book a lesson with him for my son soon after we arrived. Coach Isaac responded immediately to my outreach and was very professional with me from day one. I feel very lucky to have met Coach Isaac and to have had my son introduced to his MADE message and philosophy. After the first private session we signed up my son up for Coach Isaac's indoor camp at StrikeZon and the rest is history. My son begged me to work with Isaac again, and he ended up doing 4 lessons and a 3 day camp in just 16 days in LA. Fast forward 3 months and my son is on fire. He works out everyday on his own with no insistence on my behalf, he has become noticeably more disciplined with his work ethic and practicing the drills Coach Isaac gave to him for not only pitching but hitting as well. He also loved the camp, and we plan to come back next summer and possibly over winter break to attend his camps as well. His mentorship and influence on my son have been monumental at this stage of his baseball path. I had the pleasure of working with Coach Isaac recently. I'm a man that has 30+ years of competitive tournament softball. Being old, worn down and no longer to effectively throw the ball, I've recently started playing 1st base which I have little experience in. We are so thankful that we found Coach Isaac and MADE in mid 2020! Our 7 year old son loves baseball and we wanted to send him to a few private lessons to work on his skills so we started training with Isaac. We really appreciated Isaac's approach from day 1 which is a mix of baseball skills and life skills. Isaac and his coaches teach the kids how to be solid baseball players and how to be responsible/thoughtful kids. There are a lot of teaching moments. We have done lessons, hustleball, and now our son is on the 8U Made team with coach Isaac & Kyle and we play 9 inning games against other SoCal teams every weekend! He is excited about baseball after every practice and game whether they've won or lost. We are doing the MADE baseball camp this summer as well. I don't normally leave yelp reviews but I found Isaac and his baseball program MADE Baseball on line and I am so happy to have him coaching my son! My son has been playing baseball since t-ball and is now 7 years old and starting to show a lot of love for the game so we decided we wanted to get him a private coach. I found Isaac and called and scheduled an intro session. Since then we have done 5 more sessions and my son is ecstatic about baseball and constantly asking when he gets to work with Isaac next! I catch him doing the drills he is learning around the house all the time now!! Not only that, Isaac talks to him about creating "champion" habits like doing pushups and taking care of himself. Had a great lesson with coach KP. After a year of not playing baseball and only ever doing little league my 8 year old was really wanting to improve his baseball abilities this season. So I was so happy we found MADE. My son had a great time at the lesson, got to practice a lot of very helpful drills and walked away feeling happy and more confident with some skills to continue to practice. Loved the encouragement from the coach as well as the attention to detail and giving corrections in a positive helpful way. Most importantly my son had a great time. Coach Isaac brings his "A" game to the field every time he coaches our twin boys!! He turns baseball field #5 into Dodger Stadium the moment he starts with our kids!!! Coach Isaac shares his vast wisdom of years of experience as a professional baseball player himself. He makes it so much fun for the boys and also teaches them the discipline that is needed to become a professional baseball player. Since we started with Coach Isaac our boy's baseball skills have improved exponentially! After each lesson I leave the field thinking that I would like to take lessons from Coach Isaac myself. Our son was having issues with his hitting mechanics, and we were looking for a coach to help him straighten things out. Coach Isaac worked with him over several sessions to show him what he was doing wrong and provided drills and encouragement that made a huge improvement in his performance and attitude. As a result, he's hitting close to .400 in his 12U traveling team games since coming to MADE Baseball. He's also getting a lot more extra-base hits. Now we are working on defensive fielding skills along with continued batting lessons. So glad we found Made Baseball and Coach Isaac. It's made all the difference! read more

I stumbled upon Made Baseball and Issac Hess and feel like I won the jackpot. Coach Issac is helping my son become a better baseball player not only physically but mentally. He teaches him how to be the best athlete (which I am already seeing in his games) but also teaching him respect and positive attitude. I love how Issac starts each lesson with a handshake and then gets down to business. When we get home from the field my son always asks me when is the next lesson with Coach Issac. He started training with Coach Isaac and Coach Kyle a little over a year ago and has grown tremendously as a player.
